SORNA, MGA ANAK!

Dami na namang highblood na GEN-Z at Alpha!

Pasensya na kung hindi agad natin nasuspinde ang pasok ngayong umaga.

Binantayan ko po ang ulan hanggang kaninang 3AM. Kaso nagsimula itong bumuhos bandang mag-a-alas-sais ng umaga, naka-ready na kayo tyak para pumasok. Kaya minabuti muna nating bantayan at tantsahin kung huhupa rin ba ang ulan dahil very unpredictable nga po ang panahon. At alam ko namang miss na miss nyo nang pumasok.

Kaso, mga anak…
si Ulan pala ang hindi marunong makiramdam.

Kaya para sa kaligtasan ng ating mga estudyante, suspendido na ang face-to-face classes ngayong hapon sa lahat ng antas sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng Angat.

Sorry talaga, mga anak.
Hindi man tayo nakapag-cancel agad kaninang umaga, sana makabawi tayo ngayong hapon.

What Good About Rejection?

Kapag mayroon kang gustong-gustong mangyari sa trabaho o negosyo mo kaya lang ay hindi ito naaprubahan ng dapat na magbigay ng go signal, ano ang gagawin mo? Tiyak na makararamdam ka ng disappointment. Baka nga mainis o medyo magalit ka pa dahil hindi makita ng boss o kliyente ang value o potential ng iyong proposal. So what should you do when your idea is rejected? Paano nga ba maka-move-on buhat sa mga disappointing na kaganapan sa opisina? Subukan nating sagutin yan ngayon sa Protips.

Magandang araw, ako si Maloi Malibiran-Salumbides, partner mo sa inspiradong trabaho at negosyong umaasenso.

Hindi sa lahat ng oras ay sasang-ayon ang iba sa gusto mong gawin o mangyari. Lahat tayo ay makararanas ng rejection sa iba't-ibang panahon at okasyon. Pero tandaan mo ito, rejection can be a blessing in disguise. Masakit sa simula, pero sa bandang huli ay makikita mong pwede itong magkaroon ng magandang bunga. Tatlong bagay ang gusto kong tandaan mo tungkol sa rejection.

1) Rejection is an opportunity to refine your proposal. Parang sa pagsusulat ng libro. Hindi naman sa unang pagpasa ng draft sa publisher ay maaaprubahan na agad ang isinulat mo. Ilang beses itong daraan sa mapanuring mata ng editor. Iparerebisa ito ng paulit-ulit hanggang sa makuha na pinakamagandang pagpapahayag ang mga ideya at kwento sa iyong libro. Hindi madali ang proseso, pero nagiging mas maganda at pino ang final product. If you are not willing to be rejected and corrected, then you are not prepared to succeed.

2) Rejection can lead to a better redirection. Maraming mahuhusay at kilalang tao ngayon ang makailang beses na nakaranas ng rejection. Si Soichiro Honda ang founder ng Honda Motors ay nireject ng Toyota Motors ng siya ay mag-apply sa kanila. Dahil dito, nagsimula siyang gumawa ng scooter na tinangkilik naman ng kanyang mga kapitbahay. Ang naranasang rejection ay naging daan para si Honda ay maredirect sa mas magandang oportunidad at negosyo. Hindi pala siya pang-empleyo kundi magiging founder pala siya ng malaking negosyo na kinalaunan ay naging competitor pa ng kumpanya na nagreject sa kanya. Rejection can be God's way of redirecting you to something better.

3) Rejection is motivation to press on. Ang sabi ni Sylvester Stallone "I take rejection as someone blowing a bugle in my ear to wake me up and get going, rather than retreat." Kapag ikaw ay hindi natanggap sa trabahong iyong pinag-applyan, huwag agad susuko. Sumubok pa sa iba. Alam mo bang noong unang mag-try out sa basketball team ng kanilang ekwelahan si Michael Jordan ay na-reject siya. Pero hindi siya nag-give-up. Mas lalo siyang nag-ensayo at nagpursige. Ngayon ay itinuturing siyang basketball icon at legend. Huwag mong hayaang takot ang maging epekto sa iyo ng rejection. Dapat ay maging motivation ito para ikaw ay magpatuloy at magsumikap.

Kahit ang Panginoong Jesus ay nakaranas ng rejection. Ang sabi sa Isaiah 53:3, "He was despised and rejected by mankind". Pero sa kabila ng di pagtanggap sa kanya ng tao, nagpatuloy si Jesus na gampanan ang kanyang misyon. He pressed on and obeyed God's will. Rejection can be a beautiful blessing wrapped in a unique package. Hindi man nangyayari ang gusto mo sa iyong trabaho o negosyo ngayon, kung tama ang ating attitude, makaaasa ka na "the best is yet to come".
