The PuroKalusugan program successfully reached Barangays San Isidro, San Vicente, Pappat serving 215 individuals through comprehensive health services. These included dental check-ups and fluoride application, OPT validation, TB case finding through sputum collection for GeneXpert testing, immunization, and prenatal check-ups led by Dr. Khrisnalyn Castro.

This initiative was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Princess Faith Penetrante, with the continued commitment of the Rural Health Unit to provide accessible, preventive, and quality healthcare for every community.

The PuroKalusugan Program of the Department of Health was successfully conducted in Barangays Pissay and Baui bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community.

Led by our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Princess Faith Penetrante, and made possible through the unwavering support of our Local Chief Executive, Mayor Joelle Mathea Panganiban, the activity provided a health services, including the distribution of much-needed medicines.

Additional medicines were also made available through the Philhealth Gamot initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Cess, further extending assistance to residents in need and ensuring greater access to essential medications.
Together, we remain committed to bringing quality healthcare closer to every community and building a healthier Angadanan for all.

"Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!" 🌱💚

The RHU Angadanan successfully celebrated Nutrition Month under the leadership of Dr. Princess Faith Penetrante and with the full support of Mayor Joelle Mathea Panganiban.

Congratulations to Loria Region, the champion of the Cooking Ina Mo competition, who won a ₱7,000 cash prize.

As part of the celebration, the beneficiaries also received 5 kgs of rice, fresh vegetables, vegetable seeds, and one tray of eggs to promote healthy and sustainable living.

Together, let's continue building a healthier and more nourished Angadanan! 🥗🌾

Essential health services were delivered in Barangays Aniog, Pappat, and Barangcuag, including medical consultations, immunization, TB screening, maternal and child care, family planning, nutrition services, and health education.

A meeting was also conducted to discuss the upcoming Blood Letting Activity in Barangay Loria scheduled for August 7, 2026, emphasizing the importance of blood donation in saving lives and maintaining an adequate blood supply. Likewise, the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) was discussed to highlight its importance in protecting children against measles and rubella and preventing disease outbreaks. Clarification was also provided regarding the current deworming issue to address concerns and ensure the proper dissemination of accurate information.
