This week, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and YES-O led a campus-wide clean-up drive.

It was more than just trash bags and brooms. It was about making sure every classroom, hallway, and open space feels safe, fresh, and ready for learning. Because when our school is clean, it’s easier to focus, breathe, and actually enjoy being here.

To every SSLG and YES-O officer, and to all the students who joined in: Thank you. Your time, effort, and malasakit turned one idea into a cleaner campus for everyone. That’s bayanihan at work.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supportive School Head, Ms. Racquel T. Guerrero, for her guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support in making this activity possible. Your commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and learner-friendly environment continues to inspire us to become responsible and proactive students.

Cleanliness doesn’t end today. It starts with us, and it lives on when we all do our part. Together, let us continue to protect and care for our school, keeping it a place where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive.

To dads, grandpas, uncles, to mothers who became fathers to their children, to the soon-to-be fathers, to those who stepped up, and to everyone we consider a father figure - thank you for your love and guidance.

All your quiet sacrifices are seen and appreciated by us, even when we forget to say it out loud. The early mornings, the late nights, the worries you carry in silence - we notice them all. Thank you for your endless patience when we mess up, and for your unconditional love when we need it most. You teach us strength without saying a word, and you lead by example every single day.

MALIGAYANG ARAW NG KALAYAAN!

Bilang paggunita sa ika-isang daan at dalawampu't pitong Araw ng Kalayaan, ang Bayabat National High School - La Suerte Extension ay nagkakaisang nakikiisa sa pagpupugay sa watawat ng Pilipinas na sumasagisag sa kalayaan, kabayanihan, at pagkakaisa ng bansa.

Tuwing ika-labindalawa ng Hunyo, ipinagdiriwang ng Pilipinas ang Araw ng Kalayaan. Ito ay tanda ng pagsusumikap at walang pagod na paglaban ng mga bayaning Pilipino upang maipaglaban at makamtan ang kalayaan ng Pilipinas mula sa kamay ng mga mananakop.

Sa bawat pagtaas at pagwagayway ng ating pambansang watawat, ginugunita natin ang dugo at pawis na inialay ng mga naunang henerasyon para sa kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon. Bilang mga g**o, mag-aaral, pinagtitibay natin ang ating panata na maging mga responsableng mamamayan, tagapangalaga ng demokrasya, at mga bagong bayani sa ating sariling paraan β€” sa pamamagitan ng pag-aaral nang mabuti, paglilingkod nang tapat, at pagmamahal nang wagas sa bayan.

Nawa’y manatiling buhay, nag-aalab, at nagliliyab sa puso ng bawat Pilipino ang diwa ng kalayaan, pagmamahal sa bayan, at pagkakaisa. Magsilbi nawa itong inspirasyon upang sama-sama tayong kumilos tungo sa isang mas maunlad, mas mapayapa, at mas maliwanag na kinabukasan para sa lahat.
