Term 1 Parent-Teacher Conference 2026

Parents, guardians, and teachers came together during the Term 1 Parent-Teacher Conference to discuss learners' academic progress, school programs, and upcoming activities for the succeeding term.

During the conference, parents were updated on the school's accomplishments for Term 1, including learners' academic performance, awards and recognition, and the activities lined up for the coming months. Various school programs and initiatives were also presented, such as Project NARIMAT: Learning Nest In-Home, Project KAWAN, the ARAL Program for Reading and Mathematics, Project Gulay-Aralan, the Guidance and Learners' Rights and Protection Program, Launching of the Project WATER Break, the upcoming Kumpil for Grades 5 and 6 learners, the school deworming activity, and Boy and Girl Scout programs and activities.

Following the program, parents proceeded to their children's respective classrooms for the distribution of SF 9 (Learner's Progress Report Card) and consultation with class advisers regarding their child's academic performance and development.

Gabut Integrated School successfully held its 2nd Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HPTA) Meeting, bringing together parents, teachers, and school leaders to strengthen collaboration between home and school.

The meeting focused on discussions about student performance during the Term 1, classroom policies, distribution of cards, and other upcoming important activities. Parents actively shared their insights and suggestions, highlighting the importance of partnership in supporting learners.

Key agenda items included updates on academic programs, reinforcement of classroom initiatives, and planning for future undertakings that will benefit both students and the school community.

Adding warmth and encouragement, Dr. Gilda B. Trinidad, Public Schools District Supervisor, monitored the End of Term activities and delivered a message filled with meaningful counsel and caring reminders. She urged parents to support teachers in all possible ways, to nurture respect and cooperation, and to continue fostering a school environment where children feel safe, guided, and inspired. Dr. Trinidad emphasized that true progress comes when parents and teachers walk hand-in-hand, united in their mission to raise responsible and compassionate learners.

The meeting concluded with renewed commitments from parents and teachers to continue working together in building a supportive and thriving learning environment.

Gabut Integrated School proudly served as the host school for the Crew Leaders Training Course conducted by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Northeastern Luzon Region – Cagayan North Tuguegarao City Council on September 4-6, 2026.

The event brought together young scouts from different schools across the Municipality of Amulung (Amulung National High School, Dadda National High School, Baculud National High School, Pacac Grande National High School, and Gabut Integrated School) to strengthen their leadership, teamwork, and sense of service. Participants took part in workshops, outdoor activities, and team challenges that fostered discipline and camaraderie among future leaders.

Acting Officer-In-Charge, Master Teacher II, Mrs. Sharon A. Pegoc, expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to host the training, highlighting that “leadership begins with service, and our scouts truly embody that principle.”

Scout leaders commended Gabut Integrated School for its warm hospitality and well-prepared venue, noting that the success of the program reflected the school’s dedication to youth development and community involvement.

Participants received certificates and pledged to uphold the values of honor, duty, and leadership — the guiding principles of the scouting movement.

GIS ADMINISTERS FIRST DAY TERM 1 EXAMINATION

Gabut Integrated School successfully conducted First Day of the Term 1 Examination to its learners as part of the school’s assessment of their learning and performance during the first term.

It was conducted in an orderly manner where teachers served as room examiners and closely monitored the learners throughout the examination. Before the start of the test, learners were reminded to follow the examination rules, manage their time properly, and answer the test honestly.

It gave learners the opportunity to show what they had learned and helped teachers determine the areas where learners performed well and the competencies that still need improvement.

GIS continues to work together in providing learners with meaningful learning experiences and appropriate support to help them improve their academic performance.

Congratulations to our learners and teachers for the First Day-Term 1 Examination!
