Monitoring of the Opening of Classes for SY 2026–2027
The opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027 at Gabut Integrated School was successfully monitored by a distinguished team of education leaders from Region II and SDO Cagayan. The monitoring team was composed of Sir Roderick Guinucay, EPS Focal Person, Region II; Ma’am Janette S. Gaoiran, EPS in ALS, SDO Cagayan; Ma’am Marisol A. Guiyab, SGOD, SDO Cagayan; and Dr. Gilda B. Trinidad, Public Schools District Supervisor,Amulung East District.
The monitoring team observed the smooth conduct of activities and commended the school’s readiness in terms of classroom preparation, enrolment data consolidation, and instructional materials distribution. They highlighted the collaborative efforts of the school community in welcoming learners to a safe and organized environment.
This success was made possible through the able leadership of Sir Maynard C. De Leon, Principal III, whose guidance fostered teamwork among teachers, parents, and stakeholders. His commitment to collaboration and excellence continues to inspire confidence in the school’s capacity to deliver quality education aligned with the DepEd's 12-Point Reform Agenda.
In their feedback, the monitoring team emphasized sustaining preparedness through continuous monitoring of teaching-learning processes, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to DepEd policies. Gabut Integrated School Sustains Momentum on Day 2 of Brigada Eskwela and Enrollment 2026
The spirit of volunteerism and collaboration continued to shine on its second day as Gabut Integrated School carried forward its Brigada Eskwela 2026 and Enrollment activities. Teachers, parents, learners, and stakeholders once again joined hands to ensure that classrooms and school facilities are fully prepared for the opening of classes.
Day 2 focused on deep cleaning, classroom organization, and minor repairs, with volunteers dedicating their time and effort to create a safe and conducive learning environment. Enrollment desks remained active, accommodating more learners across grade levels and ensuring a smooth registration process for SY 2026–2027.
Sir Maynard C. De Leon, school principal expressed gratitude to the community for sustaining their support beyond the opening day, emphasizing that Brigada Eskwela is not just a one-time event but a continuing commitment to education. The active involvement of parents highlighted the strong partnership between the school and the community.
