Amlimay Integrated School Conducts 2nd Quarter NSED 2026

A total of 210 learners and at least eight parents participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 at Amlimay Integrated School on June 18, 2026 9am onwards, facilitated by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

The activity included a review of the roles and responsibilities of the Incident Management Team (ICT) and its members to ensure preparedness during emergencies. Participants also attended an orientation and demonstration on the proper actions to take before, during, and after an earthquake, highlighting the importance of disaster readiness and safety.

The drill successfully strengthened the awareness and preparedness of learners, parents, and school personnel, reinforcing the school's commitment to building a safe and resilient learning environment.

Amlimay Integrated School Kicks Off Brigada Eskwela

In line with the Brigada Eskwela 2026 theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” Amlimay Integrated School successfully conducted its Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off on June 1, 2026.

The activity began with a parade participated in by parents of incoming learners, learners, members of the religious sector, BLGU officials, senior citizens, school personnel, and other volunteers. This was followed by the initial repainting of classrooms and other school improvement activities.

The event reflected the true spirit of bayanihan, as the community worked hand in hand to prepare a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for the opening of classes.

Amlimay Integrated School extends its heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers and stakeholders for their support and dedication. Together, we continue to build a brighter future for every learner through unity, service, and cooperation.

ANG LAGING HANDA

Amlimay Integrated School participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on March 12, 2026, as part of the government’s continuing effort to strengthen disaster preparedness among communities and educational institutions.
A total of 196 learners from the elementary and junior high school levels took part in the drill, demonstrating proper earthquake safety procedures such as the “Drop, Cover, and Hold” particularly on the EXIT DRILL technique. The activity also engaged four parents and two children (out of school age) from the surrounding community, reflecting the school’s commitment to promoting disaster awareness beyond the classroom.
During the drill, teachers and school personnel guided students through the correct evacuation procedures, ensuring that learners moved calmly and safely to designated evacuation areas after the simulated ground shaking. The exercise aimed to help students understand the importance of remaining alert and prepared in the event of a real earthquake.
School officials emphasized that regular participation in disaster preparedness activities like the NSED helps build confidence and readiness among students and staff. By practicing these safety measures, the school community strengthens its ability to respond effectively during emergencies.
The successful conduct of the drill highlighted the cooperation of learners, teachers, parents, and community members, all working together to foster a culture of safety and resilience.
The Amlimay Integrated School staff expressed its appreciation to everyone who participated and supported the activity, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment for all.

The Bags of Dream Project Team successfully conducted a youth formation activity for the Junior High School learners of Amlimay Integrated School with the inspiring theme: “The Power to Give, Power to Love, Power to Inspire.”

As one of the fortunate beneficiaries of this initiative, Amlimay Integrated School witnessed a day filled with learning, reflection, and empowerment. The activity aimed to nurture leadership, strengthen values, and inspire students to become responsible individuals and future leaders of the community.
