ASIPULO CENTRAL SCHOOL CONCLUDES TERM 1 WITH BRIGADA ESKWELA PLUS, CARD DISTRIBUTION, HPTA MEETING, AND LAC SESSION

September 18, 2026 | Asipulo Central School

Asipulo Central School capped the First Term with a meaningful day of partnership, learner progress, and professional learning through the conduct of its Term 1 Brigada Eskwela Plus, Card Distribution, and End-of-Term HPTA Meeting on September 18, 2026.

In the morning, parents and guardians actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela Plus, dedicating two hours to cleaning and improving the school surroundings. Their time, effort, and cooperation once again reflected the strong partnership between the school and the community in creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for every learner.

During recess, parents proceeded to their children's respective classrooms for the End-of-Term HPTA Meeting, held alongside the distribution of learners' report cards. The activity provided an opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss learners' progress, recognize their accomplishments, and strengthen home-school collaboration as the school closes the First Term.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon, after classes, the teachers of Asipulo Central School gathered for their first solo Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session for the school year, focusing on “Utilization of Checklists in Identifying Learners with Difficulties and Developing Intervention Plan.”

The session was facilitated by Teacher 6 Verna B. Infante, who generously shared insights, strategies, and learnings gained from her participation in the Division Training on said topic. The session provided a valuable avenue for teachers to deepen their understanding and strengthen their capacity to respond to the diverse learning needs of their pupils.

From parents working hand in hand for the school, to teachers working together to improve their practice, September 18 was a meaningful reminder that education thrives when the school, home, and community move together toward one goal—the holistic growth and success of every learner.

Together, we end Term 1 with gratitude, partnership, and renewed commitment to better learning.

🏠 3rd Quarter NSED | ILAW in Action Online INSET🏫

Yesterday, the school participated in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), promoting preparedness and safety among learners at home. 🏠🚨

Meanwhile, teachers actively participated onsite in the ILAW in Action online INSET, strengthening lesson planning and responsive teaching practices. 👩‍🏫✨

ASIPULO CENTRAL SCHOOL FACILITATES PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT FOR LEARNERS WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES

September 4, 2026 — In its continuing commitment to promote inclusive, learner-centered, and responsive education, Asipulo Central School (ACS) facilitated the conduct of psychosocial support and psychological assessment for learners experiencing learning difficulties.

Through the initiative of School Head Jocelyn P. Dupingay, ACS coordinated with NBM Psychological Services, led by Ms. Chloe Neziah M. Bandac - psychologist and psychometrician -, who headed a 13-member team of professionals, in partnership with Ifugao State University (IFSU).

The assessment catered to learners not only from Asipulo Central School but also from Asipulo Central School Annex, Nungawa Elementary School, Namal Elementary School, Cawayan Elementary School, Ammoweg Elementary School, and Nangkatengey Elementary School.

A total of 34 learners were assessed during the activity.

The initiative aims to provide parents, teachers, and other education stakeholders with a better understanding of the learners’ individual strengths, needs, and areas requiring support. The assessment results are expected to guide the development of appropriate interventions and strategies that will help address the learners’ educational and psychosocial needs.

The activity underscores the importance of early identification, appropriate intervention, and collaborative support in ensuring that learners with difficulties are provided with meaningful opportunities to participate, learn, and succeed.

Asipulo Central School expresses its appreciation to NBM Psychological Services, Ifugao State University, the participating schools, parents, teachers, and all individuals who contributed to the successful implementation of this important undertaking.

Through strong partnerships and collective commitment, we continue to build an inclusive school community where every learner is understood, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

TOFAS 2026
Another step toward sharpening our learners’ mathematical skills!

Our learners (Grade 1-6) are taking the TOFAS (Test of Fundamental Academic Skills) — an online assessment measuring foundational skills in Mathematics.

This helps us identify strengths and areas to grow, so we can provide the right support and guidance every step of the way.

Today, we bid farewell to a remarkable educator whose years of dedication have left an enduring mark on countless lives.
