On July 18, 2025, Allab Elementary School proudly celebrated itβs Nutrition Day, a vibrant event dedicated to promoting health and well-being among students and the community. The opening program set a positive tone for the day, beginning with a heartfelt prayer and the national anthem, followed by welcome remarks from Dr. Jerom Panes Gecoli Azucena, the school health coordinator. His words resonated with the audience, emphasizing the importance of nutrition in our daily lives. An uplifting inspirational message was delivered by Barangay Nurse Mrs. Nemia Gigatmo, and Emee Grace Gonzales representing Eva R. Promella. The program also featured delightful intermission performances by kindergarten, Grade 1 pupils, Grade 4 and 5 pupils showcasing their talents and enthusiasm. Messages from Mr. Rizalio Alojado, a member of the Barangay Kagawad committee on education, and Mrs. Rowena Suelan, the PTA President, further enriched the celebration.
The heart of the celebration featured an exciting activities that highlighted the joys of healthy eating. A cooking contest showcased the culinary skills of parents and students as they prepared delicious main dishes, side dishes, and delightful desserts. The event also featured impressive displays of fruits and vegetables, along with creative poster-making and slogan contests that encouraged students to express their understanding of nutrition and health.

Additionally, our gratitude goes to Mr. Rizalio, Committe on education for his steadfast support in promoting education and health within the community.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to PTA President Rowena Suelan, the PTA officers, and all the supportive parents who stood by us throughout the event. Your dedication and commitment were evident, especially as you braved challenging weather conditions to ensure the success of our activities.
Lastly, we want to thank our talented learners for their incredible performances in the various contests.
