Congratulations to FindLab, a student startup from the Biomedical Engineering (BME) Program of USTP Alubijid Main Campus, for being declared the Top 1 Incubatee of the 2026 USTP System CET Incubation Program! 🎉

The three-month incubation program, conducted from June to August 2026, brought together 22 startup teams from across the USTP System campuses, making this achievement an especially proud milestone for our BME student innovators.

FindLab is composed of Achilles Paul Yañez, Miko Louel Palma, Joseph Noel Imasa, Les Paul Gibson Waga, and Ma. Celeste Rose Cayadong.

Throughout the incubation journey, the team further developed and validated its startup concept, refined its business model, received mentorship, and strengthened its potential for real-world implementation and commercialization.

This achievement demonstrates that Biomedical Engineering goes beyond the classroom—empowering students to turn innovative ideas into technology-driven solutions with meaningful impact. 💡🩺🚀

Congratulations, FindLab, and congratulations as well to all 22 participating startup teams across the USTP System! 👏

CHARACTER FORMATION SEMINAR

As part of the Week of Welcome 2026: Camp Trailblazer – The Rise of the Demigods, the Office of Student Affairs and Services (SAS) successfully conducted the Character Formation Seminar for our freshmen on August 6, 2026.
The activity provided our freshmen with an opportunity to develop self-awareness, strengthen their values, and reflect on the character and attitudes needed throughout their college journey. It also highlighted the importance of living out the USTP Core Values through their actions, decisions, relationships, and responsibilities as members of the university community.

Through meaningful discussions and guidance activities, our freshmen were encouraged to grow not only as students but also as individuals who embody the values and principles of USTP.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Sarah Kaye Visande, Guidance Counselor, for facilitating the Character Formation Seminar and for sharing her time, knowledge, and guidance with our freshmen. Your efforts in helping our students begin their journey with purpose, self-awareness, and strong values are truly appreciated.

We also thank our faculty and staff, facilitators, and most especially our freshmen for their active participation and support in making this activity meaningful and successful.
