The Boy Scouts of Aloran Trade High School (Outfit 040) stood tall and prepared today as they officially joined the First Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)! 📢
Preparation is the best defense, and our scouts put their training to the test with two critical emergency response scenarios:
đźš‘ Scenario 1: Rapid Response & Transport
Scouts demonstrated the Two-Man Carry technique to safely move "injured" victims out of danger zones while simultaneously applying immediate First Aid to stabilize their condition. Teamwork in its purest form!
🏗️ Scenario 2: Advanced Stabilization
When things got tough, our scouts got technical. This scenario focused on First Aid Splinting for suspected fractures and the proper use of the Spine Board to ensure spinal immobilization during transport.
"Laging Handa" (Always Prepared) is more than just a motto—it’s a commitment we keep to our school and our community.
A huge salute to all the participating scouts, faculty, and local responders who made this drill a success. Let’s keep building a disaster-resilient Aloran! 🌲💪
