The young journalists of Nagattatan Elementary School proudly brought home multiple awards from the District Schools Press Conference held at Allacapan South District on October 21, 2025, with the theme “Responsible Campus Journalism: Celebrating Truth, Cultivating Excellence for Community Innovations.”

Andrea Louisse Dela Cruz won 2nd Place in Blogging English, under coach Mrs. Madelyn Costales, who also trained Louie Alfred Pablosos 2nd Place in Column Writing-Filipino and Laurence Ariel Rueco (3rd Place) in Column Writing English

Zian Kyle Bumanglag won 4th in Copy Reading English coached by Mrs. Reynalyn Bumanglag.

Through your tireless efforts, you mold the minds that will someday lead our communities, govern our institutions, and carry the torch of change for this country. Each word you utter, each lesson you plan, and each life you touch becomes a ripple that shapes a better future for our nation.

The Department of Education (DepEd) is relentlessly working to 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, strengthen support systems, and improve the overall conditions of the teaching profession. Technical assistance, capacity-building programs, provision of resources, and curriculum improvements are being implemented to help you not just survive but 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 in your noble mission.
