We would like to thank the C & E Foundation, Inc. and the Brgy. 8 San Miguel Children's Community Library and Learning Hub for their generous donation of books to Sinamay National High School!

​We extend our deepest gratitude to Ma’am Vivian Azucena-Topor for bridging this partnership and bringing these wonderful learning materials directly to our learners and teachers.

‎PUBLIC ADVISORY!!!

‎As per latest monitoring and advisory, classes are hereby suspended today, August 19, 2026 due to the following risk assessment:
‎
1. ‎Heavy rainfall has been concentrated in the lower portion of the Municipality, so no significant warning on landslides and flood is expected.
‎
2. However, residual risk (wet roads, wet school facility, etc..) is the major concern as no dry weather has been experienced in the Municipality in last 24 hours with other areas reporting significant and intermittent rains.

3. ‎Forecast weather during school travel hours is not expected to be improving.
‎
‎Please note in areas who have seen improving weather for the last 24 hours, school heads are encouraged to decide whether to pursue cancellation of classes or continue with their school activities, taking into paramount consideration the safety of their students.

As per latest weather monitoring from official weather bureau, the rest of the country will be experiencing isolated thunderstorms that are often unpredictable in occurrence, with potential to cause spot flooding.

To ensure the safety and general welfare of our learners, I hereby declare the suspension of Face-to-Face classes from Preschool to Senior High School in both public and private schools today, August 13, 2026.
