A meaningful and insightful online discussion via Zoom was successfully conducted on August 13, 2026, focusing on the importance of mental health in the school community.

We are grateful to Dr. Val Roman G. Sena, RPsyc, RPM, CHRP for sharing valuable insights and to Nacario Ruth, MAEd for facilitating the session.

The discussion reminded us that caring for mental health is part of caring for the mind, body, and spirit.

The second day of the First Batch of Basic Car Maintenance and Troubleshooting Training was successfully completed at NELAC Auto Servitech, Mabini, Alicia, Isabela.

The DILG Isabela Union, in partnership with TESDA, continued the hands-on learning experience, giving participants valuable practical skills in automotive maintenance and troubleshooting.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support this meaningful initiative that promotes skills development, community empowerment, and service through practical training.

August 12, 2026 | COMMUNITY-BASED TRAINING IN ACTION!

The DILG Isabela Union, in partnership with TESDA, successfully conducted the First Batch of Basic Car Maintenance and Troubleshooting Training at NELAC Auto Servitech, Mabini, Alicia, Isabela, on August 12–13, 2026.

The training equipped participants with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting, promoting skills development and community empowerment.

NELAC is grateful to be part of this meaningful initiative and to support programs that provide practical skills for service and livelihood opportunities.

August 06, 2026 | Research Capacity Building Seminar

NELAC successfully conducted a Research Capacity Building Seminar attended by Senior High School and College students. The activity featured John Deck Salinas, MAEd as the Devotional Speaker, who discussed “Hallucinated Reference,” and Florma Sanchez, PHd as the Keynote Speaker, who presented “Submitting AI-Written Proposals as Her Own.”

The seminar emphasized the importance of research integrity, critical evaluation of information, proper citation and referencing, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic and research endeavors.

The activity served as a meaningful avenue for developing the students’ research competencies and fostering a culture of academic integrity, accountability, and excellence among future researchers.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our guest speaker, Glenis O. Mangosing, LPT, for delivering an inspiring and insightful session that encouraged our future educators to remain committed, focused, and faithful in their LET journey.

The session was made even more meaningful through the active participation of our attendees. From engaging discussions to interactive activity and thoughtful exchanges, everyone contributed to a dynamic and collaborative learning experience.

Special appreciation to Dr. Juvy Jane Sales, Chair, School of Arts and Education (SAE), for serving as the facilitator and ensuring the success of the session. We also extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Vergilio Quimba, Jr., Dean for Academics, for his unwavering support and coordination in making this meaningful learning opportunity possible.

Our JHS, SHS, and SAE participants wowed everyone with their creative and meaningful costumes, bringing this year's theme to life. Each design reflected the importance of proper nutrition and caring for the environment.

From the parade, costume displays, NutriJingle, cooking demonstration, and tree planting to every activity in between, your enthusiasm, teamwork, and support made this celebration truly meaningful.
To our administrators, guests, faculty, staff, students, parents, and everyone who took part, thank you for your time, effort, and unwavering support. Together, we celebrated healthy living, environmental care, and the spirit of our NELAC community.
