AIHS Joins the Nation in Celebrating the PISA 2025 Results
Excitement and pride filled the venue as Alfonso Integrated High School (AIHS) gathered for the PISA 2025 Watch Party joining schools across the country in witnessing the live presentation of the PISA 2025 Results by the Department of Education through Microsoft Teams.
As one of the 208 participating schools in the Philippines, AIHS proudly celebrated this important milestone with its 26 out of 42 PISA 2025 takers, who were then Grade 8 to Grade 10 learners. The event became even more meaningful as it brought together education leaders, partners, parents, and community stakeholders who supported the school's PISA journey.
Present during the viewing party were SDO Cavite Province Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Antonio P. Faustino Jr., former AIHS Principal Dr. Rina F. Romilla, former AIHS English Department Head Dr. Mylene R. Lescano, SGC Co-Chairperson Laurence B. Varias, SPTA President Rita M. Banderado, Barangay 5 Councilor Hon. Arwin F. Hernandez, Mathematics Departnet Head and PISA Coordinator Mrs. Imelda Montenegro, AIHS EnSciMa teachers, Department Heads, faculty and staff. Their presence reflected the strong partnership and collective commitment to improving the quality of education for every learner.
The celebration was not only about the country's improved PISA performance but also about recognizing the efforts of the students who courageously represented Alfonso Integrated HS on the international assessment stage. Their participation has contributed to a significant chapter in Philippine education and serves as an inspiration to future generations of learners.
DepEd Alfonso Integrated High School through the leadership of Dr. Liberty Mojica Flores, also extends its heartfelt gratitude to then Parent Supervisor and EPS in Science, Dr. RD Soberano for her invaluable guidance and unwavering support throughout the school's PISA 2025 journey. The school also thanks everyone who played a part in making this achievement possible.
