𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 | ICPEP.se IFSU-Potia Chapter Successfully Conducted the Seminar-Workshop on “𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭-𝐆𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬”

The ICPEP.se IFSU-Potia Chapter successfully held its seminar-workshop titled “ 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭-𝐆𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬” at the CET Audio Visual Room.

The event equipped participants with essential knowledge in the rapidly advancing fields of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The session was led by our distinguished speaker, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐒𝐂𝐩𝐄, 𝐏𝐂𝐩𝐄, who delivered insightful discussions that enriched the participants’ understanding of AI technologies.

Below were the key highlights of the activity:

𝟏. Hands-on demo using Google Teachable Machine (Image & Audio Models)
𝟐. Training and testing real-time ML models using participants’ inputs
𝟑. Deploying models to the p5.js Web Editor for live visualization
𝟒. Interactive Q&A on Machine Learning and Deep Learning applications

The seminar-workshop proved to be a productive and meaningful event, as participants actively engaged and gained valuable insights throughout the session.

This meeting aims to discuss important organizational matters and updates concerning ICpEP.SE operations and upcoming events.

We are excited to present the 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐂𝐩𝐄𝐏 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 design, which must be worn every 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲.

As agreed upon during the officers’ meeting, the surname will no longer be included at the back design of the shirt to avoid spelling inconsistencies or errors.
Instead, the word “𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑” will be placed at the back.

𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓| First ICpEP.SE Officers’ Meeting

The ICpEP.SE Officers convened for their first official meeting to discuss and finalize matters concerning membership fee, uniforms, identification cards (IDs), and others. The following agreements were established:

𝟏. 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐅𝐞𝐞
• As mandated by the ICpEP Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), All enrolled Computer Engineering students are required to pay a membership fee of ₱𝟐𝟓𝟎.𝟎𝟎.
• Collection will be facilitated by the respective Vice Captains of each section.
• The deadline of submission is set on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. Once fully collected, the funds will be remitted to 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐚 , 3rd Year BSCpE student and our Committee Chair for Student Development and Membership.

𝟐. 𝐈𝐂𝐩𝐄𝐏 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦
• A uniform fee of ₱𝟔𝟎𝟎.𝟎𝟎.
• Students, especially 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, are advised to finalize their sizes within the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫. for 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, uniform orders shall remain 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥.
• In line with the ICpEP Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), The uniform shall be worn 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲. Failure to comply will result in a ₱𝟐𝟓.𝟎𝟎 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞, while 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 ₱𝟓𝟎.𝟎𝟎.

𝟑. 𝐈𝐂𝐩𝐄𝐏 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝
• The official ICpEP ID is already 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐞𝐞(𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝).
• 𝐂𝐏𝐄 𝟏 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 are required to submit a picture (white shirt, white background) through their Vice Captain.
• 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 may request to update their pictures if they wish.
