Our heartfelt gratitude to our substitute teachers, Ma’am Janet Bahiyan and Sir Jeff Alipio, for their dedication and service to our school. Although their stay with us was brief, the efforts, sacrifices, and challenges they quietly faced will always be remembered and appreciated.
Both fresh graduates and new to the teaching profession, this was their first appointment as substitute teachers. With the school located 7 kilometers from the main road, their journey to school was itself a challenge. They braved muddy and slippery roads, heavy rains, and small bridges where water would rise and overflow after the rain, making the already difficult route even more challenging. Yet, despite these obstacles, they showed up and continued to serve our learners with commitment and dedication.
Under the guidance of our School Head and with the support of their fellow teachers, Ma’am Janet and Sir Jeff were able to navigate the demands of curriculum and instruction, classroom management, and the realities of the teaching profession.
They stepped in during the leave of Ma’am Lezle Paggad and Ma’am Divina Hidchum, helping ensure that learning continued despite the circumstances. Today marks the end of their appointments as substitute teachers, Maam Lezle and Maam Divina will resume their duties tomorrow.
To Ma’am Janet and Sir Jeff, thank you for choosing to serve, for braving the challenges, and for giving your best during your time with us. May this first teaching experience be a meaningful beginning to fulfilling and purposeful careers in education. Your short stay may have ended, but the impact of your service will remain. 🤍📚
