📢 𝐅𝐘𝐈, 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒!

Under DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026, the Academic Excellence Award is no longer given every term or grading period.

For Grades 4–12, Academic Excellence is determined at the end of the school year based on the learner’s Final Grades and General Average.

To qualify, a learner must have:

General Average of 90 or higher
No Final Grade below 80 in any learning area
No derogatory record or disciplinary case during the school year

For Key Stage 1 learners under the descriptive grading system, academic awards are not conferred, although appropriate non-academic recognitions may still be given in accordance with DepEd guidelines.

✅ Schools may continue recognizing learners for good attendance, positive behavior, participation, improvement, and other non-academic achievements.

This change emphasizes holistic learner development rather than giving Academic Excellence recognition after every term.

MALALUPA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL actively participated in the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill* today, *June 17, 2026 | 3:00 PM*

Learners, teachers, and staff performed the *“Duck, Cover, and Hold”* and executed the safe evacuation to our designated area in *2 minutes 38 seconds*. All personnel accounted for!

Tandaan: *Sa lindol, hindi dapat mag-panic. Dapat laging handa.*

MALALUPA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL successfully held its General PTA Assembly and Orientation for School Year 2026–2027, fostering collaboration among parents, guardians, teachers, and school leaders in support of quality education.

The program included the presentation of faculty and staff, discussion of school policies and by-laws, an open forum, and the conduct of Classroom PTA Assemblies for the election of officers and discussion of classroom matters.

Thank you to all parents and stakeholders for your presence, participation, and unwavering support. Together, we continue to build a stronger school community dedicated to learner success.

𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙩 MALALUPA 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡

A joyful and meaningful opening of classes marked our first day as we warmly welcomed our new teachers, kinder learners, and transferee students through a simple yet heartfelt welcome program. 💙

Our School Head, Mam Maricel D. Benigno actively monitored the actual enrollment process, ensuring that every learner is guided and accommodated as we begin a new academic journey together.

The day continued with a Collaborative Expertise Session in the afternoon, where teachers shared best practices during the opening of classes. Together, we reflected on:
✅ Strategies and activities that worked well
✅ Challenges and difficulties encountered
✅ Valuable lessons learned to further improve future opening of classes
Mam Semie Yadan, BRGY Midwife and Ms. Ligaya Lug -ao, BHW conducted height and weight assessment at the same time, short lecture about Healthy habits.
Indeed, the first day was not only about beginnings but also about collaboration, reflection, and commitment to providing quality education for every learner.
