CATCH-UP FRIDAY

During our Catch-Up Friday in our School, the pupils engage in different reading strategies like in Kindergarten. They learn a lot when they play. They enjoy every moment at the same they learned. We allow also pupils to choose any reading materials provided by their adviser or bring their own to read independently. We encourage them to explore different genres that interest them. They love also having an reading buddies. Pair pupils up to read together. In line in guided reading group, we divide pupils into small groups based on their reading abilities. One of strategies we do, Set up of literacy stations around the classroom with activities such as word games, puzzles, or writing prompts that reinforce reading skills.
By incorporating theses activities into Catch-Up Friday, you can create a fun and engaging environment that promotes a love of reading and strengthen pupil's literacy skills.
