CLASS SUSPENSION ISSUANCES

As of August 18, 2026

Due to the prevailing inclement weather brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), enhanced by the Low Pressure Area (LPA), the following Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Province of Romblon have issued announcements on the suspension of classes:

📍 San Agustin– All Levels
📍 Ferrol– All Levels, Public and Private
📍 Alcantara– All Levels, Public and Private
📍 Romblon, Romblon– All Levels, Public and Private
📍 Santa Maria– All Levels, Public and Private
📍 Odiongan– All Levels, Public and Private
📍 San Andres– All Levels, Public and Private
📍 Magdiwang– All Levels
📍 Sta. Fe– All Levels
📍 Concepcion– All Levels, Public and Private

The Schools Division Office of Romblon continues to closely monitor the prevailing weather conditions and coordinate with the concerned LGUs, School Heads, and DRRM Coordinators for timely validation and dissemination of official announcements.

📌 This announcement will be updated accordingly.

Concerned School Heads are requested to provide/forward their official issuance on class suspension for proper documentation and validation.

𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐤

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Nutrition Month 2026, isinagawa ang Classroom-Based Lunch Potluck noong Hulyo 30 at 31, 2026 (Huwebes at Biyernes), kung saan nakiisa ang bawat seksyon ng Senior High School kasama ang kanilang mga class adviser.

Bilang pagsunod sa No Interruption of Classes Policy, naghanap ang TLE/TechPro Department ng isang alternatibong paraan upang maipagdiwang ang Nutrition Month nang hindi naaapektuhan ang oras ng klase. Sa halip na magkaroon ng isang malaking programa, bawat advisory class ay nagsagawa ng lunch potluck sa kani-kanilang silid-aralan.

Sa simpleng gawaing ito, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang mga mag-aaral na magsalu-salo, magbahagi ng masustansyang pagkain, at mas mapalalim ang samahan sa loob ng kanilang klase. Higit sa lahat, naipakita na ang pagdiriwang ng Nutrition Month ay maaaring maging makabuluhan kahit sa loob ng silid-aralan—habang tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang pagkatuto.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga class adviser, mag-aaral, at mga magulang na nakiisa at sumuporta sa matagumpay na pagdiriwang na ito. Sama-sama nating isulong ang isang paaralang may malasakit sa kalusugan, pagkakaisa, at kalidad ng edukasyon.

Growing up can be exciting, confusing, and sometimes overwhelming. You may not always have all the answers, and that's okay. Remember that you are not alone. Your parents, teachers, and the people who care about you are here to support you along the way. Here are a few reminders for your journey.

Tips & Advice for Students 🌱✨️

1. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞.
Take one day, one task, one decision at a time.

2. 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞'𝐬.
Everyone has a different pace. Your journey is still valid.

3. 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭.
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It's a sign that you care about yourself and your growth. Your parents, teachers, and trusted adults are there to support you.

4. 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
They may not always say or show it in the way you expect, but know that they want to see you grow, succeed, and become the best version of yourself. Talk to them. Let them know what you're going through.

5. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬.
They are also people you can turn to when you need guidance, encouragement, or someone to listen. Don't be afraid to reach out.

6. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨.
You cannot pour from an empty cup. Take a break without feeling guilty.

Surround yourself with people who encourage you to grow, not people who make you question your worth.

The first day of school officially commenced with a flag raising ceremony, followed by a warm and meaningful welcome program for our Senior High School students.
