Hawak Mo ang BEAT!
In times like this, even small acts of kindness can really help others.
The SSLG launches Project B.E.A.T. (Better Education Through Appropriate Terno: A Uniform Donation Drive), a simple initiative that asks for the help of our school community.
We are inviting Grade 12 graduates and Grade 10 completers who are transferring to other schools to donate their gently used school uniforms and PE uniforms. Your old uniforms can still be very useful to another student who needs them.
"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”
This is your chance to show what “Hawak mo ang beat” means the beat of kindness, unity, and bayanihan.
🤝 Be part of the BEAT of kindness!
✨ Small actions can make a big difference!
📍 Drop off your donations at the guard house
📩 Or message our official page or any SSLG officer for help or questions
Together, let’s help make education easier and more accessible one uniform at a time.

Soulvice
During Holy Week, some of the SSLG officers chose to spend their time serving in the church. Some became part of the choir, others served as sakristan, and some took on other simple roles that helped in their parish. In these quiet acts of service, their dedication was not about recognition, but about faith and willingness to give their time for something meaningful.
Many of them also joined their families in Visita Iglesia and attended church together. These shared moments became a time of reflection, prayer, and strengthening of family bonds. Away from school duties, they embraced the true spirit of the season by pausing, listening, and reconnecting with their faith.
In the end, what they showed was more than just participation in religious activities. It was a reflection of how they live out the core value of being Maka-Diyos in their everyday lives. Through their simple acts of service, time with family, and moments of prayer, the SSLG officers proved that leadership is also about faith, discipline, and sincerity of heart.
“Soulvice” captures this spirit, a word that reflects service guided by the soul and rooted in faith. It reminds us that true service is not only seen in actions, but also in the intentions behind them. As student leaders, the SSLG officers remained true to their commitment, showing that when faith leads the way, service becomes more meaningful, genuine, and inspiring to others.

They say leadership is about titles but what you showed us was far beyond that.
To our graduating SSLG officers, congratulations. 🎓
You carried responsibilities that were heavy, faced pressures that were unseen, and made sacrifices that often went unrecognized. Yet, you still chose to show up—every single time—not just as officers, but as voices for the unheard, as hands willing to serve, and as hearts that truly cared.
There were days when it was exhausting, when appreciation felt distant, and when giving up seemed easier. But you stayed. You led. You fought quietly for the betterment of others, even when no one was watching. And that kind of leadership—that kind of selflessness—is something not everyone can carry.
Because of you, change happened. Because of you, students felt represented. Because of you, this institution became a little stronger, a little louder, and a little more alive.
Now, as you close this chapter, know that this is not the end of your story as leaders. The lessons, the strength, and the passion you built here will follow you wherever life takes you next. The impact you leave behind will continue to grow in the people you’ve inspired and in the paths you’ve opened.
It’s hard to say goodbye to leaders who gave so much of themselves, but more than anything, today is a celebration of everything you’ve become.
Maraming salamat sa inyong serbisyo, sakripisyo, at puso.
Congratulations, graduating SSLG officers. 💙
Padayon—because the world needs more leaders like you.

A Moment Worth Capturing
Opportunities come and go, but some moments stay with us forever. One such moment was having the chance to take a photo with our Schools Division Superintendent, Sir Reynante Z. Caliguiran.
It may seem like a simple photo opportunity, but for many of us, it meant more than just a picture. It was a moment of pride, a symbol of connection, and a reminder that we are part of something bigger in the field of education. Standing beside a leader who continuously works to improve our schools inspired a sense of motivation and admiration.
In that brief encounter, smiles were shared, cameras clicked, and memories were made. It was a chance to appreciate the presence of someone who plays a vital role in shaping the future of learners and educators alike.
Sometimes, it’s not about how long the moment lasts, but how meaningful it becomes. And this was definitely one for the books.

Not every victory comes in the exact form we aim for, but a win is still a win.
Congratulations, Jess Baculi, for earning a seat as Board Member of the Division Federation of Supreme Secondary Learner Government Officers. Hindi man nakuha ang presidency, you still proved that you belong among the leaders who will serve and represent the learners of the division.
Facing 27 municipalities was never easy, but you stood your ground with courage, confidence, and a genuine heart to lead. That alone is something worth celebrating.
Leadership is not measured by one title alone. It is seen in your willingness to serve, your strength to keep going, and your commitment to make a difference wherever you are placed.
Jess, you made Alcala proud. This is not a setback, this is a redirection to a bigger purpose.
Padayon. Your journey in leadership continues, and many are still inspired by you.
Congratulations once again. Buong Alcala, proud na proud sa’yo.

Tomorrow is not just another day. It is a moment where courage, preparation, and purpose come together for young leaders across Cagayan.
As the Division Elections for the Supreme Secondary Learner Government begins, each candidate steps forward carrying the pride of their school and community. And among them is someone we proudly call our own, Jess Baculi, Municipal Federated President of SSLG, representing the Municipality of Alcala.
Facing 27 municipalities is no small challenge. But Jess has never been one to back down. Through every responsibility carried and every voice represented, she has already shown what true leadership looks like.
This is more than a competition. This is about standing up, speaking out, and showing what Alcala is made of.
Jess, you already made us proud by reaching this stage. Tomorrow, bring your courage, your heart, and your purpose. Trust in everything you have worked for and in the people who believe in you.
Ilaban mo ang Alcala. Ipagmalaki mo kung sino ka at saan ka nanggaling.
Good luck, Jess. Buong Alcala, nasa likod mo.

One Last Salute
As the school year comes to a close, the final flag ceremony at Baybayog National High School became more than just a routine Monday gathering. It turned into a meaningful moment of reflection, gratitude, and pride for every BNHSian who stood under the morning sky, hand over heart, for one last time this year.
All throughout the year, these weekly flag ceremonies were not just about raising the flag. They became a reminder of who we are as a school community. From the opening prayer that grounds us in faith, to the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas that strengthens our love for our country, each part of the ceremony carried a deeper purpose. In those simple yet powerful moments, students showed what it truly means to live by the core values of being Maka Diyos, Makatao, at Makabansa.
Every Monday, students stepped forward to lead, showing courage and responsibility in front of their fellow learners. It was never easy, but they accepted the challenge with confidence and dedication. Each voice that led the prayer, each student who proudly recited the Panunumpa, and every leader who guided the ceremony reflected growth, discipline, and commitment.
Behind these moments were the faculty and staff of Baybayog National High School who continuously guided and supported the students. Their patience and encouragement helped shape leaders and instill values that go beyond academics. They made sure that every ceremony was not just organized, but meaningful.
As the final flag was raised this school year, it carried with it all the memories of early mornings, shared voices, and united hearts. It reminded everyone that the lessons learned in these ceremonies will stay with us even beyond the school grounds.
To all BNHSians, thank you for showing up, for participating, and for living out the values we hold dear. You made every Monday count.
Next school year ulit, BNHSians. Another chapter awaits, but the pride, discipline, and values we built together will always remain.
