Saint Philomene of Alcala, Inc. informs all Philomenian students and parents that face-to-face classes are suspended on Thursday, June 18, 2026, due to the scheduled power interruption in the Municipality of Alcala and the expected extreme heat conditions.

Classes will proceed through the prescribed blended or alternative learning mode. Students are reminded to monitor official school announcements and coordinate with their subject teachers regarding learning activities.

Parents, teachers, and school administrators gathered at Saint Philomene of Alcala, Inc. for the General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) Assembly, reaffirming their shared commitment to quality education and learner success.

The assembly served as a venue to discuss important school programs, policies, academic expectations, and initiatives for the School Year 2026–2027. It also highlighted the vital role of collaboration between home and school in fostering a safe, supportive, and learner-centered educational environment.

Through meaningful dialogue and active participation, the school community strengthened its partnership in promoting the holistic development and well-being of every Philomenian.

𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙡𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙖, 𝙄𝙣𝙘. (SPAI) proudly welcomed distinguished education leaders for the Monitoring of the Opening Block of School Year 2026–2027.

The visit of Atty. 𝙎𝙪𝙯𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚 𝙏. 𝙂𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣-𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖, Director IV of the Bureau of Learning Resources (BLR), DepEd Central Office, and 𝙍𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝙏. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣, Senior Education Program Specialist of the same bureau, together with 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙎. 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙤, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; 𝙅𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙗 𝘽. 𝙎𝙪𝙮𝙪, Acting Public Schools District Supervisor; 𝙍𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙣, Learning Resource (LR) Supervisor of SDO Cagayan; 𝙍𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙣, LR Supervisor of Region II; 𝙊𝙘𝙩𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙜, Chief of the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD); 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝘽𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙤, District In-Charge; and other school heads, reflects a shared commitment to quality education, continuous improvement, and learner success.

It also provided an opportunity to showcase the school’s preparedness, dedication, and unwavering pursuit of academic excellence.

ALCALA, Cagayan — June 8, 2026 — Officer-in-Charge Mrs. Chona T. Ibay warmly welcomed returning students, transferees, and incoming Grade 7 learners during the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

In her message, Ibay welcomed learners back to their academic home, thanked students for choosing SPAI, and expressed her gratitude to parents and guardians for entrusting their children to the institution. She also reaffirmed SPAI's commitment to guiding learners and sustaining excellence.

𝓖𝓾𝓲𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓣𝓻𝓪𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷, 𝓢𝓾𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓔𝔁𝓬𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮.

𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙡𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙖, 𝙄𝙣𝙘. officially welcomed School Year 2026–2027 through an opening program that introduced the institution's faculty, staff, and administrators.

Returning Philomenians, along with freshmen and transferee students, were warmly welcomed into the school community. The program also featured the presentation of newly assigned positions and responsibilities of teachers, while the SSLG contributed to the celebration through their intermission performance.

The event marked the beginning of another year of learning, growth, and service under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Mrs. Chona T. Ibay.
