As the country celebrates Independence Day, Philomenian educators join the nation in remembering the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom. It is a day of gratitude for the liberties we enjoy today.

In classrooms, teachers continue this legacy by guiding students to value independence not only as a historical event, but as a responsibility to think wisely, act responsibly, and love the country. For Philomenian educators, teaching is a daily way of honoring the freedom won by earlier generations and helping shape citizens who will protect it in the future. 🇵🇭

𝙊𝙄𝘾 𝙄𝙗𝙖𝙮 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨, 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨

ALCALA, Cagayan — June 8, 2026 — Officer-in-Charge Mrs. Chona T. Ibay warmly welcomed returning students, transferees, and incoming Grade 7 learners during the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

In her message, Ibay welcomed learners back to their academic home, thanked students for choosing SPAI, and expressed her gratitude to parents and guardians for entrusting their children to the institution. She also reaffirmed SPAI's commitment to guiding learners and sustaining excellence.

As classes begin at Saint Philomene of Alcala, Inc. (SPAI), we reaffirm our commitment to providing a learning environment where every learner feels safe, valued, respected, and included.

At SPAI, we believe that education flourishes in a community built on kindness, understanding, and mutual respect. No student should ever feel left behind, unheard, or unwelcome. Our school is a place where everyone can learn, grow, and feel at home.

𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡. 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙣. 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣.

Saint Philomene of Alcala, Inc. will conduct Brigada Eskwela 2026 from June 1 to 5, 2026, in preparation for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

The activity calls on alumni, parents, teachers, community partners, supporters, and other willing Philomenians to take part in efforts aimed at improving school facilities and creating a clean, safe, organized, and learner-friendly environment.

Brigada Eskwela serves as a venue for volunteerism and community participation, bringing together various sectors in support of quality education and school readiness.
