This begonia is a monoecious plant. It bears both male (staminate) and female (pistillate) flowers within the same plant. The larger male flowers are on the right side of the frame while the female flowers are at the bottom center of the frame.

Meet the little friends of our farm. These little children just dropped by the farm this afternoon after playing elsewhere. They asked if they could get inside and have a tour of our gardens. Their faces instantly lit up when they saw the colorful plants, flowers and butterflies. They even asked for some seeds to plant. Part of the vision is to transform our gardens into living laboratories where children could learn about plants, animals, and nature. Ang sarap talaga maging bata. 😊
