The second day of the "๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐) ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ญ๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ" continued the discussions led by the MDRRMO and the Municipal Agriculture Office of Alangalang in the morning. Later in the afternoon, the participants' knowledge were enriched even more with discussions led by the Bureau of Fire Protection of Alangalang, Leyte and ๐ด๐. ๐ฑ๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐ ๐ต๐รฑ๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐
๐๐. These sessions were designed to inculcate a deep sense of care and responsibility for the environment, equip participants to become fire safety vanguards and tactical rescuers, and foster a spirit of leadership among the youth of Alangalang ๐ฑ๐งฏ๐ง โ๏ธ.
The activities conducted during the day were celebrated with a budol fight in the evening. This was glamorously followed by the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ญ and ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ where representatives from each of the five clusters showed their incredible talent, beauty, and wit. The program kicked off with a warm welcome message from the Social Work Field Instructor and agency supervisor, ๐ด๐. ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ. ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐น๐บ๐พ, ๐ด๐ท๐จ. The social work interns closely collborated with the PYAP Officers in facilitating the successful conduct of the program. As for the placers and winner of the PYAP Got Talent as well as the crowned PYAP Ambassador and Ambassadress, they were handed the prestigious title by the social work interns' very own school and agency supervisors, respectfully, ๐ด๐. ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ. ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐, ๐น๐บ๐พ and Mr. Peralta. And just when you thought the night was over, the program was followed by a fun Youth Night (Disco)๐ชฉ๐๐บ.

On April 16, 2026, the youth of Barangay San Antonio Farm (Cluster 3), proudly joined 35 other barangays for the opening of the "Pagasa Youth Association of the Phillipines Alangalang Leyte Chapter Summer Youth Camp".
The first day of the camp focused on empowerment and community resilience, featuring essential discussions led by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the MDRRMO, and the Municipal Agriculture Office of Alangalang. These sessions were designed to provide the participants with essential life skills, foster a spirit of leadership, and cultivate a deeper sense of social responsibility and community involvement among the youth of Alangalang.
The day transitioned into a vibrant celebration of heritage during the Cultural Night Competition, where five clusters showcased diverse traditional dances. Our very own two youth representatives from San Antonio Farm took the stage with pride, contributing to a spectacular display of local culture. The evening concluded with a powerful and inspiring message from the Municipal Mayor of Alangalang, ๐๐จ๐ง. ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ-๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐, who emphasized the vital role of the youth in nation-building.
This activity was facilitated and assisted through the dedicated assistance of the LNU Social Work Interns, reflecting a continued commitment to supporting youth development and inclusive community engagement.

This initiative promotes improved gardening practices, environmental stewardship, and strengthened community collaboration.

It equipped participants with essential knowledge on waste segregation, proper disposal, and the practice of the 3RsโReduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Through insightful discussions, ๐๐ผ. ๐๐ฎ๐ต๐ฎ๐ท ๐. ๐ข๐พ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ช๐ญ๐ช, ๐ฃ๐ธ๐พ๐ป๐ฒ๐ผ๐ถ ๐๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ธ๐ฏ ๐๐๐๐ก๐, emphasized the importance of environmental responsibility and the collective role of the community in protecting natural resources.

Held at the Barangayโs Covered Court at Proper on March 29, 2026, the assembly carried the theme โ๐๐๐ ๐ค๐๐ค๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ง, ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐๐ง.โ It served as a vital platform to address community concerns, highlight accomplishments, and present future plans and projects.

Our team of social work interns had the opportunity to assist and facilitate during the "Elucidating the Endemicity and Transmission Dynamics of Taeniasis and Cysticercosis" activity here in Brgy. San Antonio Farm Alangalang, Leyte.
The main act was led by the brilliant Mr. Raffy Jay C. Fornillos, MSc UP Diliman (Institute of Biology), whose expertiseโalongside the guidance of the DOHโis paving the way for better health outcomes on our community. The program provided the community with free stool examinations and blood extractions, a huge win for local health awareness. Our team of social work interns was happy to play a supporting role in the organization and logistics of this impactful event. ๐ฉบ
