We strengthened our internationalization efforts today as Visayas State University (VSU) and the Software Development Centre (SDC) of the University of Da Nang in Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the VSU RDE Breakout Room.

The signing was also highlighted by talks and discussions on faculty and student immersion, research collaboration, and other opportunities for academic exchange. Through this partnership, we continue to open more opportunities for our Viscans and build stronger global connections.

It is official! Visayas State University Alangalang kicked off the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) on September 14, 2026, at the grounds in front of the New Administration Building, right after the regular Monday flag ceremony.

The launching was spearheaded by the Office of the Director for Administration and Finance, in collaboration with the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), bringing together our teaching and non-teaching personnel, together with our students, in celebrating the spirit of public service.

One of the highlights of the activity was the Commitment Wall, where our teaching and non-teaching personnel put pen to paper and shared their personal commitments to serve with dedication, integrity, excellence, and genuine concern for others.

Each note may be a simple message, but together, they reflect a powerful commitment: to serve, to care, and to make a difference. 💙

As we begin this year’s PCSA celebration, VSUA joins the entire Philippine civil service in honoring the dedication, passion, and invaluable contributions of our public servants.

Together, let us continue to serve with purpose and pride!

🏃‍♀️🇵🇭 Running in honor, serving with purpose.

The VSU family proudly joined the Lingkod Bayani Run 2026, the official run in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

The run pays tribute to the public servants who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of the Filipino people. It also brought together public servants in a celebration of camaraderie, wellness, and dedication to public service.

With every step, we remember.
