We're thrilled to announce that Salon de Wence, owned by Wence Holasca, is extending a generous financial support to Alangalang National High School!
Representing ANHS, Special Program for the Arts (SPA) Coordinator Jay Ralph Matobato received the cash donation personally handed by the owner herself, Wence Holasca. The turn-over took place in the presence of ANHS ASP Coordinator Ana Iloley M. Antoni and salon employees at the Salon de Wence Alangalang, April 3. The said amount will be used in providing for the needs of the school delegation for the Division Festival of Talents (DFTOT) - Sining Tanghalan at Tanauan, Leyte on April 13-14.
Alangalang NHS spearheaded by its principal, Mr. Vernon M. Barraza Jr., is grateful for the unending support of Salon de Wence to the school. Their commitment to education is truly commendable. IN PHOTOS: LGU ALANGALANG DONATES 30 BICYCLES TO ANHS STUDENTS
Spearheaded by the Municipal Mayor, Lovell Ann M. Yu-Castro, thirty (30) bicycles through the Local Government Unit Alangalang's Libreng Sakay Program were distributed to Grades 7 and 8 students of Alangalang National High School at the ANHS Quadrangle, March 1.
Continually upholding its commitment to support the educational endeavors of Alangalang NHS, LGU Alangalang provided bicycle units with helmets to selected Grades 7 and 8 students of the school. The said project is made possible thru LGU funding under the Libreng Sakay Program which goal is to help students transportation to school. The student-beneficiaries together with their parents personally received the donations through a ceremonial turnover as duly represented by the signing of the deed of donation and acceptance by the municipal mayor and ANHS principal, sir Vernon Barraza.
Present as well in the said activity are some Sanggunian Bayan members, ANHS teachers, faculty, staff, parents, and community members. The selection of student-beneficiaries was facilitated by Grade 7 coordinator, Warlette F. Morados and Grade 8 coordinator, John G. Evangelista.

LOOK | ROTARY CLUB OF SAN JUANICO AWARDS FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR ANHS STUDENTS
Rotary Club of San Juanico (RCSJ) awards a four-school year worth of financial assistance to five poor but deserving Grade 7 students through the organization's Pantawid Pagaral Program (3Ps) at Alangalang NHS Blue Building Theater Hall, March 15.
With the presence of the student-beneficiaries and their advisers, and some Alangalang NHS teachers, the school principal, Sir Vernon Jr Barraza, and RCSJ 3Ps Program Coordinator, Sir Jorge Yu, signs the Memorandum of Agreement which grants the selected students 50 pesos per day allowance for an entire four (4) school years starting this school year 2024-2025. In this event, the ceremonial turn-over of the financial aid was also conducted signifying the official acceptance of the donation. The financial assistance through the RCSJ's 3Ps aims to at least lessen the financial burdens of parents and help support some of the students' financial needs such as for their transportation and school supplies.
Present as well in the signing of MOA and turn-over are other representatives from RCSJ are Marjorie Yu-Restor and Ansley Baldos. From the Alangalang NHS, the event is facilitated Adopt-a-School Coordinator Ana Iloley Macaroncio Antoni who will also monitor the disbursement of the financial aid throughout the program's effectivity starting July 2024.

Alangalang National High School spearheads the Alangalang III District Brigada Eskwela 2023 Kick-off.
As the host school, Alangalang NHS leads the District Brigada Eskwela 2023 Kick-off with fourteen (twelve of which are elementary schools) other schools in the Alangalang III District. The event was also participated by other stakeholders coming from different agencies and institutions.
The event started with the motorcade from Alangalang NHS to Astorga, Lingayon, around Alangalang proper area, and back to Alangalang NHS. This was followed by the kick-off program, which was highlighted by the signing of the Pledge of Commitment.
