In celebration of Teachers' Day, held on October 6 at Golden West Colleges, Inc., students gathered to express their heartfelt appreciation and admiration for their beloved instructors through songs, surprises, and simple yet meaningful gifts.

The celebration began with a touching serenade prepared by the students, filling the venue with warmth and gratitude. A symbolic salute followed, honoring the teachers’ dedication, patience, and hard work in shaping young minds.

Cheers and laughter filled the atmosphere as colorful confetti rained down, marking the joyful spirit of the occasion.

The event showcased the students’ creativity and sincerity as they united to surprise their mentors. It was a day of smiles, thankfulness, and celebration one that reminded everyone of the lasting impact that teachers bring to their students’ lives.

Congratulations to the Golden West Colleges Performing Arts-Dance Group!

The Golden West Colleges Performing Arts-Dance Group was awarded 1st Runner-Up in the recently concluded 2025 Inter-Collegiate Athletic Competition – Powerdance Competition.

The group is composed of 11 students from various academic programs, guided by their dedicated adviser, Ms. Luielyn Raguindin. Each member showcased outstanding talent, skill, and discipline in a performance witnessed by a large audience at the Alaminos City Complex, Pangasinan, and streamed live on Facebook.

Their hard work, perseverance, dedication, and determination paved the way to this well-deserved achievement.

Thank you for your tireless efforts, and once again, congratulations on this remarkable success!

The GWC Performing Arts Club is excited to announce that auditions are open for talented performers. We invite you to showcase your skills and join us in celebrating the arts.

• Open to all GWC students interested in singing and dancing.

Audition Dates:
August 18, 2025
🕗8:00am-12:00nn
AVR-2nd Floor Main Building

August 19, 2025
🕐1:00pm- 5:00pm
AVR-2nd Floor Main Building

• Please arrive at least 15–20 minutes early.

What to prepare:
💃 🕺 For Movers (dance)
• 2-3 minutes self-choreographed routine (all genre is welcome)

🎤 For Singers
• Prepare to showcase your talent in (2) languages.
🎶 (1) English Song
🎵 (1) Tagalog Song

📌Music in MP3 format on USB drive or phone (backup recommended).
