Venue: Community Learning Center (CLC)
On July 27, 2026, an Alternative Learning System (ALS) Passers Meeting was successfully conducted as part of the preparations for the upcoming ALS Moving-Up Ceremony scheduled on August 20, 2026. The meeting was attended by ALS Passers, ALS implementers, and education officials to discuss important reminders and preparations for the said event.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the presence of Dr. Orlando I. Guerrero, CID Chief, who graced the activity and delivered an inspiring message to the ALS learners. In his address, Dr. Guerrero congratulated the learners for their perseverance and determination in overcoming the challenges they encountered throughout their ALS journey. He emphasized that the Moving-Up Ceremony is not the end of their educational journey but rather the beginning of greater opportunities.
Dr. Guerrero encouraged the learners to continue pursuing their education, reminding them that learning is a lifelong process and that every achievement they attain today serves as a foundation for a brighter future. He also motivated them to remain resilient, believe in their capabilities, and become responsible individuals who can positively contribute to their families and communities. His words of encouragement deeply inspired the learners and strengthened their commitment to continue their studies despite life's challenges.
During the meeting, the ALS implementers also discussed the guidelines, schedule, attire, and other important preparations for the ALS Moving-Up Ceremony. Learners were reminded of their responsibilities and were encouraged to actively participate in ensuring the success of the event. The activity concluded with renewed enthusiasm and optimism among the learners. The meeting served not only as preparation for the upcoming ceremony but also as a meaningful opportunity to inspire the learners to pursue higher education and continue striving for their dreams.
