We proudly congratulate Marie Donnalen R. Regaspi for securing 3rd Place in Secondary Photojournalism (Filipino) during the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held in Batac City, Ilocos Norte last March 10–13, 2026, representing SDO Alaminos City.

Guided by her coach, Ma’am Charmaine C. Pascua, Marie showcased exceptional talent and dedication in capturing stories through the lens—truly embodying this year’s theme:
“Journalism Against Silence: Campus Voices for Transparency and Accountability.”

Following their success, Querrubin Venedict Dichoso and Marie Donnalen Regaspi will advance to the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) to represent our Division.

These remarkable achievements were made possible through the support and guidance of Dr. Jose Gerardo R. Garcia, School Principal III, and Dr. Mark Gil C. Dichoso, Master Teacher III/OIC-Assistant Principal II, SHS, along with their school paper advisers: Mr. Lauro Malvecino, Ms. Charmaine Pascua, and Ms. Lovelyn Diaz.

Alcedo Wins 1st Place in Zero Waste Month 2026 Infographics Contest

Jhon Dynyll Alcedo, a Grade 11 student from the STEM Mendeleev Class, won 1st Place (School Category) in the Infographics Making Contest during the Zero Waste Month 2026 celebration in Alaminos City sponsored by the City Environmet and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

Anchored on the theme “Honoring Our Past, Renewing Commitments, Innovating for a Cleaner Tomorrow,” his infographic showcased creative and practical solutions for proper waste management and emphasized the vital role of youth in environmental sustainability.

Rachelle Ann Ramos of HUMSS-Aphrodite and Loverboy Flores of HUMSS-Hercules have been crowned Mr. and Ms. Senior High School 2026.

The first runner-up titles went to James Andaya (CSS Poseidon) and Precious Lyka Rabina (STEM Roentgen). Justine Lee Poras (HUMSS Aphrodite) and Sunshine Suarez (HUMSS Hercules) secured the second runner-up positions.

Meanwhile, Michael Jay Mojeca was named “Pride of the Year”, Christopher De Leon received the “Voice of Equality” award, and Romel Jay Rabanal was honored for “Slay with Style” in the GAD awareness activity.

These activities were all parts of the SHS Week 2026 celebration.
