ACNHS Kicks Off Nutrition Month 2025 with Tarpaulin Hanging Ceremony

Alaminos City, Pangasinan β€” July 1, 2025

In line with the nationwide celebration of Nutrition Month this July, the Alaminos City National High School (ACNHS) officially launched its activities with the hanging of the Nutrition Month 2025 tarpaulin on July 1.

The ceremony was led by Sir Rey B. Pascua, Principal II and Officer-in-Charge Principal IV of ACNHS, together with Mr. Florencio C. Valdez, Head Teacher VI of the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Department. The event was actively supported by all TLE teachers, demonstrating the department’s strong commitment to promoting health and nutrition awareness.

This year’s tarpaulin features the official theme:
β€œSa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!”
(β€œThrough PPAN, let's celebrate nutrition security for all!”)

It also highlights the subtheme:
β€œFood and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”
which emphasizes that access to nutritious food is a fundamental human right and should be prioritized in every community.

The hanging of the tarpaulin marks the beginning of a month-long series of activities aimed at encouraging healthy eating habits, nutrition education, and active lifestyles among students and the school community.
