In response to the June 8, 2026 earthquake, Alabel National High School, through the ANHS Care Center, successfully conducted a 3-day Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training and PFA Session for all Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel on June 26, 29, and 30, 2026.
Recognizing that the crisis affected not only our learners but also our school employees, the ANHS Care Center first provided Psychological First Aid sessions to all teaching and non-teaching personnel to support their own mental health and psychosocial well-being. Caring for those who care for others is an essential step toward recovery and resilience.
In addition, the training equipped our teachers with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to provide Psychological First Aid to our students, ensuring they are prepared to offer immediate emotional and psychosocial support during times of crisis and emergencies.
As we continue to recover and move forward together, Alabel National High School remains committed to fostering a safe, caring, and resilient learning environment where every member of our school community feels supported, valued, and empowered.
Together, we heal. Together, we grow stronger. π
