Mayo 11, 2022 โ€“ Malugod kong tinatanggap ang anunsiyo ni Presidential frontrunner Bongbong Marcos na ang papasok na Bise Presidente na si Sara Duterte ay inaasahan na maninilbihan bilang Kalihim ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon.

Handa ako at ang buong pamilya ng DepEd na magtrabaho kasama ang kanyang grupo para sa maayos na transisyon ng pamumuno sa DepEd. Gagawin natin ang turnover ng Basic Education Plan 2030, na siyang kauna-unahan sa isang papatapos na administrasyon na mag-iiwan ng medium-term plan. Kampante tayo na ang DepEd ay mapapangasiwaan ng mga mahuhusay at makakaasa sa pagpapatuloy.
