Pursuant to the directive of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Alabel, led by Mayor Lilibeth “Ybing” J. Salarda, MPA, please be informed that face-to-face classes in all levels remain suspended on June 18–19, 2026.

The resumption of regular classes shall be until further notice, subject to the assessment and recommendation of the MDRRMC and other concerned local authorities.

A copy of the Executive Order issued by Mayor Lilibeth “Ybing” J. Salarda, MPA, will be released accordingly.

For accurate and timely updates, the public is advised to follow only the announcements from official government channels.

AlSci CARES: Continuing the Legacy of Compassion 💙

AlSci CARES remains one of the school’s best practices since then, consistently fostering a culture of service, empathy, and community engagement. And once again, this initiative has come to life through a meaningful outreach activity that touched many lives.

On June 13, 2026, through the generosity of various groups and individuals, relief goods worth approximately ₱22,000 were distributed to around 203 families and individuals at Purok 5, Poblacion, Malapatan. In addition, hot meals were served to patients, watchers, and frontliners at the Sarangani Provincial Hospital, bringing not only nourishment but also comfort and encouragement.

This impactful outreach was made possible through the collaboration with Ang Mamamahayag and The Scribbler, spearheaded by the SSLG and the School Principal, Ma’am Marivic Lomocso.

Indeed, this initiative reflects the true essence of AlSci CARES—compassion in action, unity in purpose, and service for the community.

📢 BUILDING INSPECTION UPDATE

We would like to inform everyone that Building Inspection were successfully conducted by the Provincial DRRM Team composed of Engineering Office, PGSO and BFP on June 10, 2026 at 9:30 AM, followed by an inspection from the Municipal Engineering Office and BFP on June 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM.

After thorough assessment, certifications have been issued for all rooms and offices, confirming their status based on the evaluation conducted. ✅

These inspections were carried out in response to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred last Monday, June 8, 2026, to ensure the safety and structural integrity of our facilities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Provincial DRRM Team composed of Engineering Office, PGSO and BFP and Municipal Engineering Office and BFP for their dedication, effort, and commitment in conducting these inspections and helping keep everyone safe.

PROVINCIAL ADVISORY: Extension of Emergency Protocols

Please be informed that the emergency protocols, safety sweeps, work adjustments, and face-to-face class suspensions established under Executive Order No. 33, series of 2026, are hereby extended until further notice.

This extension is in view of the provincial declaration of a state of calamity and the ongoing disaster response operations. The Provincial Government continues to monitor the seismic situation in real-time, and any further updates or adjustments will be communicated through official channels as soon as possible.
