📢 Nakiisa ngayong araw ang aming Agroentrepreneurship NC II Trainer na si Mr. Jhon Arlan Ruadera sa isinagawang Technical and Advisory Visit (TAV) na inorganisa ng Public Employment Service Office (PESO) ng Alabat, katuwang ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), ngayong Abril 24, 2026 sa Tats Hall, Brgy. 2 Poblacion, Alabat, Quezon.

Layunin ng gawaing ito na mapalawak ang kaalaman at pagpapahalaga ng mga micro-business sa labor standards, gayundin ang pagpapakilala sa iba’t ibang programa at serbisyo ng DOLE. Ang aktibidad na ito ay tumutulong sa mga maliliit na negosyo, lalo na sa mga community-based enterprises, upang mas maunawaan at makasunod sa mga batas sa paggawa sa isang suportibo at hindi inspeksyong paraan.

Noong Pebrero 9–11, 2026, ginanap ang pagsasanay na “Sustainable Coconut Farming Practices: Maximizing Yield and Profitability” sa Mikastra Integrated Farm, Macalelon. Ito ay pinangunahan ng Costales Agricultural and Skills Development Institute, Inc. katuwang ang Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Training Institute sa ilalim ng Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan.

Kabilang sa mga lumahok si Ms. Maricel Talisic, may-ari ng ZEYEN Farming School, na aktibong nakibahagi sa mga talakayan at gawain na nakatuon sa pagpapataas ng ani at kita sa pamamagitan ng sustenableng pamamaraan ng pagsasaka ng niyog. Ang pagsasanay na ito ay patunay ng patuloy na pagsisikap na mapaunlad ang sektor ng agrikultura at suportahan ang ating mga magsasaka.

Agroentrepreneurship NCII Scholars Showcase Their Innovative By-Products at ZEYEN Farming School

Last October 5, 2025, the Agroentrepreneurship NCII scholars proudly presented their innovative by-products as part of their hands-on training at ZEYEN Farming School. The event highlighted the creativity, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit of the trainees as they showcased a variety of value-added products developed from farm resources.

Serving as panelists during the presentation were Ms. Maricel D. Talisic, ZEYEN Farming School owner, Mr. Jhon Arlan Ruadera, an alumnus and Agri professor at SLSU Alabat, and Mr. Sader Almirañez, AGE NCII Trainer. Their valuable insights and constructive feedback guided the scholars in refining their ideas and preparing for real-world agroenterprise opportunities.

The activity marked a meaningful milestone in the scholars’ journey toward becoming skilled and business-minded agricultural practitioners—proof that with the right training and passion, agriculture can be both sustainable and profitable.
