CELEBRATION OF GLOBAL HANDWASHING DAY 2025
“Why are clean hands still important?”

Global Handwashing Day (GHD) is an annual global advocacy day dedicated to advocating for handwashing with soap as an easy, effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.
In observance with D.O No. 10 “ Policy and Guidelines on the Comprehensive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in SCHOOLS (WinS) Program”. This is to improve access to adequate water supply, functional toilets, and effective hygiene promotion. This year, The Global Handwashing Day theme “Why are clean hands still important.
To demonstrate to school children the value of good hygiene, RTCIS leads a handwashing activity. This activity was held on October 15, 2025 respective handwashing areas of the school. Every learner received a hand soap to use. The handwashing activity was facilitated by teachers in all grade level.

RTCIS FACULTY CELEBRATE MASTER'S DEGREE ACHIEVEMENT IN EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT

We are proud to announce that five of our dedicated teachers at RTCIS have recently graduated with their Master' s Degree in Educational Management. Congratulations to Normylin B. Angulo , Nerie Ann M. Cabangon, Diane Kristel M. Compuesto, Joan R. Hugo and Aurora R. Alvarez on this significant academic accomplishment.

Their commitment to continuous learning and professional growth exemplifies the spirit of excellence that RTCIS cherishes . Their eagerness to fulfill their dreams and enhance their expertise in education reflects their primary goal - to uplift both their profession and the quality of education in our institution.

ARAL PROGRAM MONITORING HIGHLIGHTS LEARNERS’ READING PROGRESS AT RT CAMACHO INTEGRATED SCHOOL

Learners across all grade levels showed notable improvement in reading skills, with upcoming interventions set boost comprehension

The Alabat District conducted a monitoring a monitoring activity on October 11, 2025, at RT Camacho Integrated School to evaluate the effectiveness of the ARAL Program among RTCIS learners. Facilitated by all District School Heads, the assessment involved reading activities across grade levels.
While learners have improved their reading skills over recent weeks, many continue to face challenges in comprehension. To address this, teachers will implement additional reading interventions, provide more practice time, and create localized materials suited to each learner’s needs.
School heads shared heartfelt feedback on the recent reading assessments, applauding each learner’s dedication and achievements. Teachers were also provided thoughtful recommendations and suggestions to further support student growth. Parents and the school community are encourage to join in recognizing the successes, as together we continue to nurture a love for reading and lifelong learning.
Let us all inspired by the progress we have made, and look forward to even greater achievements ahead-because every page turned a step toward a brighter future.

RTCIS ARAL Program Kick-off

RTCIS successfully launched the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program in support of RA 12028!

Our students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders came together to kick-start this initiative aimed at enhancing academic performance and making learning more accessible for all. 🤝📚

We're excited to see the positive impact this program will have on our school community! 🌟

With a vision for a more holistic educational approach led by the former mayor, Hon. Fernando L. Mesa, RT Camacho Elementary School was further developed into RT Camacho Integrated School in 2018. This transition marked a significant step towards integrating various educational disciplines and fostering a more inclusive environment for students.

The RTCIS community, under the leadership of Maam Reggie S. Reazo, extends its sincerest condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and colleagues of the late Hon. Fernando Mesa. May his dedication to public service and his contributions to the community be remembered and cherished.
