ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 14

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 126, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 14, 2026:
📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Cavite
📍 Batangas
📍 Rizal
📍 Laguna
📍 Quezon
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall likewise be implemented in these areas.
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Senior High School (SHS) Grade 12 STEM and ABM students of Alabat Island National High School participated in a Study Abroad Information Session led by Marie America Yanzon, Philippine Regional Representative of the Sydney School of Business and Technology (SSBT) and Monaro Higher Education.

The session provided students with essential information on academic programs in Australia, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, financial planning, and post-graduation career pathways.

Through the activity, graduating students gained valuable insights to help them make informed decisions as they prepare for higher education and future careers.

The Senior High School Department of Alabat Island National High School (AINHS-SHS) distributed Agriculture Hygiene Kits to all Grade 11 and Grade 12 Agricultural students to promote health, safety, and proper hygiene during agricultural laboratory activities and fieldwork.

The distribution was led by Principal IV Leilani A. Pregellana and SHS Coordinator Charlene Joy G. Oliveros, reaffirming the school’s commitment to learner welfare and a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment.

Each hygiene pouch contains a toothbrush, Colgate toothpaste, hand soap, tawas, Rexona deodorant, and a white camisa chino to support students in maintaining cleanliness and personal hygiene throughout their agricultural training.
