Dioscoro T. Tejada Elementary School successfully participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), demonstrating preparedness, discipline, and cooperation among learners, teachers, and staff.

Through this activity, we continue to strengthen our awareness and readiness in responding to emergencies, ensuring a safer and more resilient school community.

Opening Block Activities | June 8–11, 2026 | 1st Term, S.Y. 2026–2027

Dioscoro T. Tejada Elementary School successfully carried out the Opening Block Activities from June 8–11, 2026, setting a strong and organized start for the new school year. 📚🎒

During this period, learners engaged in classroom orientation, helping them understand school routines, expectations, and learning goals. A nutritional status assessment was also conducted to ensure the health and well-being of every learner.

To further support effective teaching and learning, various assessments were administered, including the CRLA, Phil-IRI, RMA, and other diagnostic tests. These activities aim to determine learners’ strengths and needs, guiding teachers in delivering responsive and quality instruction.

The day began with a meaningful first flag ceremony, followed by the presentation of our dedicated teaching staff and school personnel. A brief orientation was also conducted to guide our learners on school rules and the new academic system for this school year.

Dioscoro T. Tejada Elementary School successfully conducted its Parent Orientation on June 3, 2026, bringing together school administrators, teachers, and parents in a collaborative effort to ensure a productive and informed school year.

The orientation highlighted key components of the Three-School Year program, providing parents with a clear understanding of its structure, goals, and benefits for learners. Important discussions on Classroom Assessment were also presented, emphasizing fair, accurate, and learner-centered evaluation methods to monitor student progress.
In addition, the Awards and Recognition system was explained to motivate learners in achieving academic excellence and demonstrating positive values. The Learning Continuity Framework was also introduced, outlining strategies to sustain quality education in various situations and ensuring that no learner is left behind. Furthermore, School Regulations were carefully discussed to guide parents and students in maintaining discipline, safety, and respect within the school environment.

This meaningful activity aimed to strengthen the partnership between parents and the school, fostering open communication, shared responsibility, and a unified commitment to the holistic development and success of every learner.
