Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) proudly marks another milestone in its commitment to internationalization and academic excellence as it participates in the SEA Teacher Project Batch 11, hosted by Universitas Kristen Indonesia, beginning April 15, 2026. This engagement highlights NISUโs active role in strengthening regional collaboration and advancing teacher education across Southeast Asia.
As part of the program, NISU has deployed a delegation composed of faculty members and selected pre-service teachers who will take part in an international teaching practicum. The initiative aims to enhance pedagogical competence, intercultural understanding, and professional development among future educators.
The participating faculty members will serve as program coordinators, mentors, and academic supervisors, ensuring that the objectives of the SEA Teacher Project are effectively achieved. Their leadership and guidance will play a vital role in supporting the student delegates throughout their international exposure while reinforcing NISUโs commitment to quality education and global engagement.

Through the program, they will participate in teaching practicum activities in partner schools abroad, gaining valuable experience in diverse educational settings.

The tracer study aims to gather relevant data on the employment status, career placement, and professional development of BSEd graduates. The results of this study will serve as a basis for curriculum enhancement, program evaluation, quality assurance initiatives, and continuous improvement of teacher education programs.

Following the successful celebration of College of Education Day 2026, the official Overall Rankings have now been released. Inspired by the noble houses from Game of Thrones, six houses competed with excellence, pride, and unwavering determination: House Hightower, House Stark, House Velaryon, House Targaryen, House Lannister, and House Baratheon, each demonstrating remarkable teamwork and school spirit throughout the festivities.
The overall results were determined through the combined scores from the different games and activities, which include the Quiz Bee, Digital Poster Making, Edu-Challenge: The Ultimate Team Quest, Video Highlights Competition, and the Search for Mr. And Miss College of Education 2026.
Emerging as Overall Champion is House Stark, followed by House Baratheon in second place and House Hightower in third. Congratulations to the top performing houses for their outstanding achievements, and commendations to all six houses for contributing energy, passion, and brilliance that made this yearโs celebration truly memorable and inspiring.
