𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | NISU Ajuy Campus SSC Turns Over Donations to Fire-Affected Students

With hearts united in service, the Supreme Student Council of NISU Ajuy Campus successfully turned over the collected donations for the NISU Victorino Salcedo Sara Campus students affected by the recent fire incident at Anoring, Sara, Iloilo.

This initiative would not have been possible without the generosity and compassion of the students, faculty, and staff of NISU Ajuy. Your willingness to extend help reflects the true spirit of bayanihan within our university community.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Lebni Bernardino Jr., Campus Administrator of NISU Ajuy, and Prof. Kaith Ann Marie Delfin, Director of NISU Ajuy Student Affairs and Services, for their steadfast support and guidance throughout this initiative.

Our sincere gratitude is also extended to Dr. Joey Dela Cruz, Campus Administrator of NISU VSSC, Dr. Renette Valderrama, Director of NISU VSSC Student Affairs and Services, and Dr. Raffy B. Chavez, University President, for their continued support in making this effort meaningful and successful.

The Northern Iloilo State University Board of Regents has formally chosen Dr. Raffy B. Chavez as the institution’s new University President during a Special Board Meeting at the CHED Central Office on April 23, 2026.

He is set to take over the post from outgoing president Dr. Bobby Gerardo, marking a transition in the university’s leadership.

With this development, the NISU community anticipates steady direction, strong governance, and a continued commitment to quality education and service.

Congratulations to Dr. Raffy B. Chavez on this significant milestone.

The Board of Regents, through the Office of the Board Secretary, hereby publicly announces the appointment of DR. RAFFY B. CHAVEZ as the 2nd University President of Northern Iloilo State University.

The Board of Regents convened for a Special Board Meeting at the CHED Central Office on April 23, 2026, presided over by CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, during which the appointment was formally approved.
