Awayan Elementary School held its School-Based Reading Month Celebration and Values Culminating Activity on December 3, 2025, participated by all learners from Kinder to Grade 6. PTA President Efren Garnate opened the program with his warm welcome remarks, while parents and PTA officers showed their full support by attending the event.
The program featured Choral Reading, Spelling Bee, Storytelling, Bible Memory Verse, Bible Quiz Bee, and Poster Making.
Madam Angelina Appoy, school head, inspired everyone with her heartfelt message during the closing remarks. A day filled with learning, values, and excellence! 🌟💙

our school proudly celebrated Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED) Day, honoring our rich cultural heritage and the wisdom of our ancestors.

The celebration began with a vibrant parade, followed by a short but meaningful program masterfully emceed by Teacher Joan S. Awitan featuring:

2025 District Teachers' Day Celebration! 🎉💐
Awayan Elementary School proudly joined the District Teachers' Day celebration, held on October 10, 2025 where they were honored with a Recognition Award for winning the District Search for Gawad Cordillera Award – Teaching Group Category (Public Elementary School) last August 26, 2025. A special congratulations to Madam Febelyn Maayon, who was awarded Most Outstanding Teacher for the teacher- category, congratulations 👏 👏 👏.

Awayan Elementary School Sports Selection Meet 2025🌟
(September 16, 2025)

A day filled with energy, unity, and sportsmanship! The event officially kicked off with the National Anthem led by Ms. Bea Bucan, followed by an Opening Prayer by Teacher Delia Domingo. Heartfelt Opening Remarks were shared by PTA President Efren Garnate, and the Acknowledgement of Participants was warmly delivered by Teacher Lydia Aganon.

An Inspirational Message from our dedicated School Principal, Ma’am Angelina Appoy, reminded everyone of the importance of passion and perseverance in sports. The Oath of Amateurism was led by pupil-athlete Jandelson Domingo, followed by the Formal Declaration of the Opening by our School Sports Club Coordinator, Ma'am Febelyn Maayon.

To add color and excitement, selected learners showcased their talents through intermission numbers including lively dances and impressive gymnastics!

To kick off the celebration, all participants joined in a fun and energizing mass Zumba dance that got everyone moving and excited for the games! 🎶🕺💃

The event was gracefully hosted by our Master of Ceremony, Teacher Joan S. Awitan.
