Enrico T. Prado National High School witnessed a burst of energy and sportsmanship as the "Intramurals 2023: Sports for Peace" unfolded on November 16-17. The event, aimed at fostering unity and camaraderie among students, commenced with a vibrant parade led by enthusiastic participants representing their respective teams.
The event kicked off with opening remarks by Mrs. Christine T. Dizon, the school's MAPEH Coordinator, followed by an inspiring message delivered by Mrs. Marilou T. Joven. The formal opening was graced by Mr. Ruben R. Mandapat, setting the tone for two days filled with competitive spirit and sportsmanship.
The highlight of the event was the search for the Muse and Es**rt, drawing cheers and support from the audience. The atmosphere was electrifying during the energetic yell, showcasing the passion and pride of each participating team.
Students showcased their skills and sportsmanship across various disciplines, including badminton, chess, basketball, sepak takraw, table tennis, and volleyball. The teams, each representing different grade levels, such as the Grade 7: Green Panthers, Grade 8: Yellow Hawks, Grade 9: Red Tigers, Grade: 10 Blue Eagles, Grade 11: Gray Pythons, and Grade 12: White Leopards, displayed remarkable talent and competitive spirit throughout the competitions.
The event not only highlighted athleticism but also emphasized the importance of unity, teamwork, and peace among the school's diverse student body. Intramurals 2023 served as a platform to celebrate sportsmanship, unity, and the spirit of healthy competition within Enrico T. Prado National High School.
