💙 AUTISM AWARENESS

“Gagaling pa ba ang anak ko?”

Isa ito sa mga pinakakaraniwang tanong ng mga magulang.

Ang totoo, ang autism ay hindi sakit na may simpleng lunas. Ngunit hindi ito nangangahulugan na walang pag-asa.

✨ Ang mas mahalagang tanong ay:
“May progreso ba?”

Ang sagot ay: OO.

Sa pamamagitan ng:
✔️ Early intervention
✔️ Consistent therapy
✔️ Suporta ng pamilya
✔️ Patuloy na practice sa bahay

…maraming batang may autism ang nagkakaroon ng malaking pag-unlad. Maaari silang matutong:
💙 Makipag-communicate nang mas epektibo.
💙 Mas maunawaan at masunod ang mga instructions.
💙 Makisalamuha at makabuo ng mas magandang social skills.
💙 Maging mas independent sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na gawain.

🌱 Bawat bata ay may sariling timeline. Ang pag-unlad ay hindi karera, at hindi dapat ikumpara sa iba. Ang bawat bagong salita, bawat eye contact, bawat natutunang kasanayan, at bawat maliit na milestone ay isang tagumpay na dapat ipagdiwang.

🤝 Sa Shang and Roark Learning Center, layunin naming maging katuwang ng bawat pamilya sa paglalakbay ng kanilang anak. Naniniwala kami na sa tamang gabay, pasensya, at tuloy-tuloy na intervention, bawat bata ay may kakayahang matuto, umunlad, at maabot ang kanyang sariling potensyal.

❤️ Kung ikaw ay isang magulang na minsan ay napapagod o nawawalan ng pag-asa, tandaan mong hindi ka nag-iisa. Ang mga araw na tila walang pagbabago ay bahagi rin ng proseso.

Huwag sumuko. Patuloy lang.

Ang consistency ngayon ay maaaring maging pundasyon ng mas magandang bukas.

🌈 Hindi natin mababago ang diagnosis, ngunit maaari nating mabago ang magiging kinabukasan ng isang bata.

Bawat bata ay may potensyal. Bawat progreso ay mahalaga. At sa Shang and Roark Learning Center, bawat hakbang ay ipinagdiriwang. 💙

No more crying for Ezekiel with our new Occupational Therapy Support Provider.

Creating a comfortable, calm, and child-friendly environment helps children gradually feel safe and more at ease during therapy support sessions.

Because of the warm weather, lotion is being used instead of oil for comfort during massage and sensory-based activities. The lotion used is selected to help provide a smooth and comfortable experience during sessions.

Seeing children become more relaxed and comfortable is always a heartwarming moment for us.

Did you know? Oral motor massage and exercises may be used during therapy support sessions to help increase oral sensory awareness and improve coordination of the muscles involved in mouth movements.

Activities such as pouting, lip movements, and guided oral stimulation may help learners become more aware of how their oral muscles work, which can support skills related to speech production, feeding, and oral function when used as part of an individualized intervention plan.

Every child has unique needs, and activities are carefully guided based on the learner’s goals and responses during sessions. Progress happens through patience, consistency, and continuous support. ❤️

Ngayon, ibang kuwento na ang ipinapakita ng mga ngiting ito. 💙 Mula sa pag-iyak sa therapy support sessions hanggang sa pagiging komportable, masaya, at puno ng ngiti kasama ang aming teacher—ito ang ganda ng progreso.

Maraming salamat sa aming bagong therapy support provider, Teacher May, sa pagmamahal, malasakit, at dedikasyong ibinibigay mo sa aming mga learners. May kakaiba kang galing sa pag-abot sa puso ng bawat bata at sa paglikha ng ligtas at masayang space kung saan sila ay komportable at masayang natututo. ✨
