The School-Parent-Teachers Association (SPTA) Officers of Agoo East Central School successfully conducted a Community Pantry on September 18, 2026, following the Card Day activities.
The initiative was headed by the SPTA President, Atty. Rhea Janice O. Songcuan, in coordination with the School Principal, Maโam Blinda Balderas. The activity aimed to extend support and assistance to the parents and guardians of the school community. Setting Up the Community Pantry Before the distribution, the SPTA Officers and teachers worked together in preparing, repacking, and arranging the donated goods. The items were organized properly to ensure an orderly and efficient distribution. Signages bearing the theme โCommunity Pantry @ AECS: TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCEโ were prominently displayed to remind everyone of the importance of unity, generosity, and community support. During the Distribution Proper, the program began with a brief opening remark from the School Principal, Maโam Blinda Balderas, who expressed her appreciation to the SPTA Officers, teachers, and other stakeholders who contributed to the activity's success. Parents and guardians were called in staggered intervals to avoid overcrowding and to maintain an organized distribution process. Each beneficiary received basic food items such as rice, canned sardines, noodles, and fresh fruits and vegetables. The distribution was conducted smoothly, with the assistance of the SPTA Officers and teachers. The School Community Pantry Project concluded successfully and meaningfully. It demonstrated that even small acts of kindness and generosity can create a positive impact on the lives of others. The activity provided immediate assistance to the beneficiaries while also strengthening the spirit of cooperation, compassion, and unity within the school community. The success of the project reflected the unwavering dedication and commitment of the SPTA Officers, teachers, parents, and other school stakeholders to extend their service and support beyond the classroom walls. Through collective effort and shared responsibility, the Agoo East Central School community continues to show that โTogether, We Can Make a Difference.โ
