With the increasing importance of reliable witness testimony in legal and investigative contexts, the need for effective methods of eliciting and analyzing statements has never been greater. As part of the PAFLL Webinar Series on forensic linguistics, this session will highlight how linguistic approaches can enhance the credibility and accuracy of witness accounts.
In this session, Dr. Rudy Gahar, a board member of PAFLL, will deliver a presentation titled ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. The talk will explore how cognitive interviewing strategies can improve the quality of information gathered from witnesses and how linguistic analysis contributes to evaluating their statements.

On August 12, 2025, the SBO Officers, Mayors, and Treasurers held their 1st meeting to discuss plans and programs for the highly anticipated ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐๐.
The said meeting was presided over by Gov.Harizon Boado with the guidance of their SBO Adviser, Jana Faye Madriaga.
