Our YOUTH ENVIRONMENT IN SCHOOLS ORGANIZATION adviser’s message🍃💚

📣 Today is the day we bid a heartfelt goodbye to our outgoing Youth for Environment in Schools Organization officers.

We are deeply grateful to the whole PCLU BED for the opportunity you have given us to serve you and prove capabilities. 🙌🏻

To our school president, Ma’am Donna Marie P. Santos, our principal, Dr. Rosebelita Regacho, our beloved YES-O adviser, Ma’am Eloisa Rilloraza, our In-charge of student activities, sir Michael James Ergino, and ma’am Kimberly Donan, thank you so much for your unending support and guidance to us. Our plans and projects would not be a success without your support and encouragement. 🫂

Rest assured that despite the new paths we will take on the next school year, the lessons and values we’ve learned will forever stay with us.

As the end of the school is now here, our officers will now step down from their positions (S.Y. 2023-2024). Before they close this chapter, here are their warm messages and goodbyes to their peers.

Thank you for joining our green journey, San Nicolas Elementary School!

The success of our program is far more than cleaning our beaches and coastal areas, but also the ripple effect of awareness and education that accompanies our cleanup activity. By working with San Nicolas Elementary School, we have fostered a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between human activity and the health of our environment.

Through our short discussion, story telling, and coastal clean-up activity, the students gained more awareness regarding the environment and the on-going global crisis. Through advocating practices and lessons that encourage waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable practices, the students’ green skills were honed. Moreover, the valuable lessons they learned was excellently demonstrated during the quiz bee and spelling bee activities.

This shows that we are taking steps toward a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.

What may seem to be a successful event, in truth, is the result of many hours of planning, preparation, and organizing. Behind the success of our Giving and Cleaning Drive is the unwavering effort of the Polytechnic College of La Union - Youth for Environment in Schools Organization. Through hard work, dedication, perseverance, collaboration, commitment, and passion, we heartwarmingly witnessed the priceless smiles of the children which brought us a sense of fulfillment and joy. Our dedication to this project was not just to make the program successful, but also to make a meaningful change and impact.

It is such a great honor to spread love and joy to our fellow students during the Valentine's Day celebration at the PCLU Open Grounds last February 13-14, 2024. Wide smiles brought by the overflowing love and lasting memories were exchanged among students, all of which will be cherished forever.

From facilitating your confessions to bringing smiles to your faces, we are thankful to have played Cupid's role in your Valentine's Day experience.
