โจ While this is our profession, helping is our vocation.โจ
We are still feeling incredibly inspired after the successful conclusion of our Coaching Session last April 25, 2026, hosted by the DMMMSU-SLUC College of Graduate Studies - Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling!
This session was specially designed with a meaningful purpose: to equip our MAGAC students with the knowledge and confidence needed to prepare for their examinations, while deeply instilling the core values of the Guidance and Counseling profession.
A massive and heartfelt thank you to our esteemed Resource Speaker, Prof. Angelo Garcia Calaunan, PGCA Guidance Specialist. Not only did his invaluable expertise provide excellent guidance for our exam preparations, but what resonated most deeply was his profound passion for the youth. He left us with a powerful and grounding reminder that beyond our titles and the technicalities of our profession, our true calling and vocation is to help others.
We also want to extend our warmest gratitude to the people who made this morning of learning possible:
โข Dr. Tjaart Jan B. Estrada for the welcoming opening remarks
โข Ms. Judah Leah P. Meimban for introducing our speaker
โขMs. Maria Elena V. Milan, RGC for beautifully closing the event
โขMr. Arjay Pauline for leading our preliminaries
Most importantly, thank you to all the MAGAC students, graduates, and guests who joined us via Google Meet. Best of luck with your upcoming examinations, future counselors! Let us carry Mr. Calaunan's message and the core values of our field with us as we continue to grow and embrace our vocation. ๐
