Today, October 10, 2021, we acknowledge World Mental Health Day. The theme for this year's day is "Mental Health in an Unequal World"

The pandemic has affected a lot of people. More than ever, it is now that a lot of us feel shattered and hopeless, as we are all struggling to go through each day. These are the times when we need the most support and care from one another. A reminder that life has its own ups and downs.

The World Mental Health Day gives way to more awareness in our field, in breaking the stigma and discrimination. We all bear the responsibility of speaking out about mental health issues.

During this Mental Health Day, we are encouraged to share positivity through inequality and hardships. As we may serve inspirations for those who are losing their battles.

Today, is not just a day to celebrate our fight for mental health. Today, let us be reminded that amidst this pandemic, you are not alone. Let us now be reminded that this is not just a battle of us against the endless criticisms; a battle of us against the chains of disbelief.

Let this day be our wake up call, let us choose to fight this battle together. Today, we end the stigma.
