In line with the celebration of International Day for Biological Diversity (IDBD) on May 22, 2024 with the theme "Be Part of the Plan" and as part of strengthening our commitments to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) every 22nd day of May, Adams National High School and YES-O Adams National High School would like to thank DENR Region I for choosing our humble place as your participant in conducting Community Education and apublic Awareness (CEPA). This celebration aims to raise an appreciation and deeper understanding of species, ecosystems and interconnectedness of the living world thereby avoiding mismanagement, misuse and destruction of biodiversity.

ISCIgaw natin | YES-O and SSLG of Adams National High School have joined the conduct of Simultaneous River Clean-up Drive with a theme "PLANET VS PLASTIC" initiated by the MENRO of Adams, Ilocos Norte. The river clean-up drive began and ended at the Municipal Auditorium, and was made through the participation of the BFP and MENRO of Adams, Ilocos Norte.

DAY 2 | Adams National High School conducted a Symposium on Environmental Awareness and Solid Waste Management as another SCIGAW KALIKASAN initiative for this Earth Month 2024 Celebration.

This symposium was made possible through the accumulated micro efforts of the students and teachers of Adams National High School headed by ma'am ARVIJOY C.ANDRES, and of course to our resource speaker, Engr. ANKENY QUESTIN, who expertly educates the whole community of Adams National High School on the said topics.

The Symposium aimed to promoting awareness and understanding of environmental issues and their impact on society. It also encourages discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among participants to find sustainable solutions for environmental challenges.

Thank you everyone for being part of this successful and rewarding SCIGAW KALIKASAN initiative.

KICK-OFF | Adams National High School kicked-off their Earth Month Celebration with a clean-up drive both inside and outside the school premises at 6:00 a.m. The clean-up began and ended at the Municipal Auditorium, and was made possible through the participation of the students and teachers of Adams National High School, as well as several government agencies such as the PNP and MENRO of Adams, Ilocos Norte.

The clean-up drive activity aims to promote awareness about waste management and environmental concerns. It also seeks to encourage waste reduction, recycling, and reuse. This activity is in line with the Schools Division of Ilocos Norte's initiative number 7, which focuses on community immersion and environmental engagement.

iSCIGAW Natin! |In accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A, s 1996, designating March as Fire Prevention Month, and DepEd order No. 28,s 2016 titled "Strengthening the Fire safety and Awareness Program," Adams National High School actively participated in this year's Fire Prevention Month with the theme "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog Di Ka Nag-iisa."

In line with this, the BFP of Municipality of Adams, ilocos Norte headed by SFO3 Henrick Damo conducted a poster making contest, symposium/lectures on proper usage of fire extinguishers, fire prevention tips, and simulated also the fire drill.

This activity emphasizes the significance of fire prevention and preparedness among school personnels and students of National high school Adams National High School.

YES-O of Adams National High School has joined the conduct of Medical Mission initiated by the Red Cross Youth of Ilocos Norte.

SSLG and YES-O of Adams National High School have joined the conduct of Clean-up drive initiated by the local government unit (LGU) of Adams.

Adams National High School joined the simultaneous Conduct of the Tree-Planting activity for the implementation of project - "DEPED's 236,000 Trees - A Christmas Gift for the Children"
