LOOK | ACC Graduating Class Conducts Brigada Eskwela Extension Activities

As part of the Community Service Pre-Graduation Requirement for Batch Bantayog, graduating students of ACC participated in the Brigada Eskwela Extension Activities conducted on June 5, 2026, through the ACC Community Extension Services Program. The initiative was undertaken to support partner schools in their preparation for the opening of the academic year while providing students with meaningful opportunities for community engagement and service.

The activity was participated in by graduating students from the College of Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship (COHME) and the College of Arts and Science Education (CASE). It was spearheaded by the Senior Class Organization (SENCO) in collaboration with the ACC Community Extension Services Office, faculty facilitators, and the teachers and school personnel of the respective partner schools.

The extension activity was simultaneously carried out in three partner schools: Gabaldon Central School under the supervision of Robert John Novio and May Fe Almendra; Abuyog South Central School under the supervision of Irene Belleza, MAEd, Nichols Torado, and Marian Del Morte; and Bernardo V. Closa Central School under the supervision of Fhaila Donn Soniedo, MAEd. Through the collective efforts of the participating students, faculty members, and school stakeholders, various school improvement and maintenance activities were successfully undertaken in preparation for the upcoming academic year.

The initiative served as a platform for fostering civic responsibility, volunteerism, and community involvement among graduating students while strengthening partnerships between ACC and its partner institutions. It reflects the College’s continuing commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically competent but also socially responsive and dedicated to community development.

The Senior Class Organization formally announces the official results of the 2026 Graduating Class Batch Name Voting.

Following the consolidation, validation, and proportional computation of responses from the participating colleges, the batch name “BANTAYOG” garnered the highest overall rating and has therefore been recognized as the official batch name of the Graduating Class of 2026.

The following emerged as the Top 3 batch names based on the final computed results:

🥇 BANTAYOG — 331.95
🥈 BAGSIK — 330.80
🥉 BALANGAY — 175.69

To ensure equitable representation among colleges, the results were computed through proportional representation, wherein college scores were derived from the ratio of total college population to total college responses, multiplied by the corresponding response count for each batch name option.

This initiative reflects the collective participation and voice of the graduating class in selecting a batch name that embodies the identity, aspirations, unity, and legacy of the Class of 2026.

The Senior Class Organization extends its sincere appreciation to all graduating students who participated in the voting process and contributed to this significant milestone for the batch.

For any clarifications, questions, or concerns regarding the presented results, students are respectfully encouraged to coordinate directly with the SENCO Officers, who remain committed and prepared to address all concerns accordingly.
