𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | ABUYOG ACADEMY, INCORPORATED KICKS-OFF SCHOOL-BASED ENCAMPMENT 2025

Abuyog Academy, Incorporated officially kicked- off the two-day School-Based Encampment 2025 today, November 28, at Abuyog Academy School Grounds.

Anchored with the theme, “Service, Innovation, and Scouting For All,” the event started with an opening prayer, followed by the Parade of Colors and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Niño J. Cotejar, School Principal, stated that this activity will serve the community and make scouting open and accessible to everyone.

In addition, Sct. Lester Brian O. Montilla, Wood Badge Holder of BSP Leyte Council, delivered a speech that reminded scouts of the different Scout Ideals. He also highlighted the three principles of scouting—Unity, Humility, and Equality.

Furthermore, Mr. Jamel R. Pilapil, Outfit Advisor, led the Investiture Ceremony, and selected Senior Scouts took part in the Candle Lighting Ceremony—a symbolic tradition that highlights the Scouts’ commitment to uphold the ideals of the Scouting movement.

Robin's achievement showcases exceptional journalism skills, highlighting her talent in copy reading and headline writing This recognition paves the way for future opportunities in media and communication.

Juan Jerome De Guzman placed 2nd Best Technical Director in the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025 held in Tanauan, Leyte from November 12 to 15.

SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AND WORK IN ABUYOG, LEYTE DUE TO TROPICAL STORM TINO

The Local Government Unit of Abuyog, announces the following due to the ongoing threat of a Tropical Storm. Following a recent directive from the Office of the Provincial Governor, the previously announced half-day work suspension for government offices on November 3 (Monday) is now a full-day suspension. The local suspension of work and classes on November 4 (Tuesday) remains in effect as per local Chief Executive order.

𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀:
All classes in the Municipality of Abuyog for both private and public schools, at all levels, are hereby suspended on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸
Work in government offices is suspended on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. Essential services will remain operational.
