Divine Word High School of Dana-ili turned vibrant shades of appreciation today as the community gathered to celebrate Women’s Month, placing its Female Faculty Members at the heart of the festivities.

The event was a lively tribute to the women who serve as the school’s pillars, featuring a series of spirited games and interactive challenges that offered a well-deserved break from the classroom.

By blending formal recognition with lighthearted play, the school fostered a powerful sense of camaraderie, proving that the strength of these educators lies not just in their lessons, but in their shared joy and resilience.

Beyond the games, the celebration serves as a vital reminder of the indispensable role women play in shaping the moral and intellectual landscape of the school.

Honoring these teachers highlights the importance of gender equality and empowerment within the academe, inspiring students to recognize and respect the leadership of women in all sectors of society. The 6th Alumni Homecoming of Divine Word High School of Dana-ili reached a glittering crescendo during the Socialization Night, where the campus transformed into a venue of elegance and nostalgia. Clad in their finest attire, graduates from across the decades set aside their professional lives to reconnect over music, shared dances, and the retelling of cherished high school memories.

The evening was a beautiful display of the "Divine Word" spirit, as the gaps between old and new batches vanished, replaced by a unified sense of pride and a collective celebration of the journeys taken since leaving the halls of Dana-ili.

The highlight of the festivities was the prestigious Coronation Ceremony, a tradition that honored the grace, leadership, and continued commitment of the alumni to their alma mater. Cheers echoed through the night as the newly crowned royalty were recognized not just for their poise, but for their contributions to the community and their dedication to supporting the school’s future projects. This grand finale served as more than just a pageant; it was a symbolic crowning of the enduring bond between the alumni and DWHS, ensuring that the 6th homecoming ended on a high note of glamour, gratitude, and renewed school pride.

The 59th Foundation Anniversary of Divine Word High School of Dana-ili recently transformed the campus into a vibrant arena of athleticism and cultural pride, as students competed in a spirited mix of contemporary sports , Bingo Bonanza and traditional Laro ng Lahi.

The event kicked off with high-energy tournaments in Sports and Laro ng Lahi, where the different year levels showcased their teamwork and physical prowess. These modern games served as a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic development, fostering a sense of discipline and camaraderie among the DWHS students as they vied for the championship titles under the heat of the sun.

By integrating these traditional games into the foundation day program, Divine Word High School not only honored its nearly six decades of academic excellence but also successfully strengthened the students' connection to their cultural roots, ensuring that the legacy of Dana-ili remains alive in the hearts of the younger generation.

MEET & GREET : A Heartfelt Tribute to 59 Years of Excellence at DWHS Dana-ili.

DANA-ILI, ABULUG — The spirit of "giving back" took center stage during the 59th Founding Anniversary of Divine Word High School (DWHS) of Dana-ili, as alumni from across the globe returned to their roots for a memorable Meet and Greet.

The celebration was marked by extraordinary generosity, turning the campus into a hub of joy and excitement.

In a grand gesture of school spirit, the alumni distributed 10 raffle items were awarded to each year level, ensuring students from all grades shared in the luck, 5 lucky recipients walked away with special cash gifts and "Jollibee" Surprise bringing a touch of "home" to the festivities, the alumni treated the entire school community to a free Jollibee meal.

This event was made possible through the unwavering support of the DWHS International Alumni Association and our local DWHS Alumni. Their commitment to the current generation of students serves as a powerful reminder of the lasting bond formed within the halls of DWHS.

To our alumni: Your presence brought smiles, but your kindness brought inspiration. Thank you for never forgetting where your journey began.
